    http://nypost.com/2013/10/29/docs-resisting-obamacare/

    From the article:

New York doctors are treating ObamaCare like the plague, a new survey reveals.
A poll conducted by the New York State Medical Society finds that 44 percent of MDs said they are not participating in the nation’s new health-care plan.
Another 33 percent say they’re still not sure whether to become ObamaCare providers.
Only 23 percent of the 409 physicians queried said they’re taking patients who signed up through health exchanges.
“This is so poorly designed that a lot of doctors are afraid to participate,” said Dr. Sam Unterricht, president of the 29,000-member organization. “There’s a lot of resistance. Doctors don’t know what they’re going to get paid.”

it could be true, but also remember that's the same paper that broke the story about Obama making the Marines wear girly hats. 100% false, of course.

Wow, apparently there are some ignorant doctors out there. I'm not sure how you refuse to become an "Obamacare provider" or participate other than by refusing to take private insurance as a form of payment. Are they going cash and barter only? Maybe if someone agrees to become their butler, they will treat them.

The doctors may be bailing but at least we will gain 30,000 new IRS agents so that should work out good.

Aren't the private insurers providing the policies for the ACA? Have I missed something where the ACA is actually an insurance provider itself?

44% who have decided plus 33% undecided does not equal 75% decided...

Fear and doom today, doom and fear tomorrow.

The feeling is that Medicaid rolls are going to burst and doctors don't want to touch it.

The gov't isn't a provider, as there is no "public option." All the plans you buy on the exchange are offered by private insurers.

Doctors/health care providers make choices about whether or not to participate in health insurance plans all the time. They evaluate and make a determination on whether or not it is in their best interests to participate or not.

This is correct and why most choose not to participate in Medicaid.

Stars and Stripes: Marines shoot down Internet story on Obama’s alleged push for ‘girly hats’

In an email, Marine Corps officials said there is no truth to reports that President Obama is behind the potential change.

“The president in no way, shape or form directed the Marine Corps to change our uniform cover,” according to the Marine Corps statement. “We are looking for a new cover for our female Marines for one overriding reason: The former manufacturer went out of business. … The Marine Corps has zero intention of changing the male cover.”

I'm pretty sure doctors are smart enough to know how it all works... unlike the average poster/s here.
