Miami fans better pray that they don't see us again this year. This is their chance to end the series on a highlight, which I'm guessing wouldn't happen in Atlanta.

Well, actually The Dazzler was the last in 2008...my bad.
The Zooker embarrassed us silly in the 2003 season.

That 2008 CrapOne Bowl against Michigan was Mullen's next-to-last year as our OC. His last year, we won the NC against Oklahoma.

I would give anything to play Miami again. Even with Murphy, without 5 turnovers, we beat them by double digits.

Now at this point we are looking at either a 6-6 or 7-5 regular season record (I'm assuming home victories over Vandy and Ga Southern), which eliminates us from consideration for the Sugar/Cap One/Cotton. This leaves us with:

    • Outback: We would definitely have to finish 7-5 and thus beat one of Georgia/SoCar/FSU for it to happen.
    • Chik Fil A:I would love this because we haven't been there since 2004. If we go 7-5 and the Outback passes, this is our destination.
    • Gator: Very likely with a 6-6 record, but would they want us back since we were there just two years ago?
    • Music City: If we go 6-6 and the Gator Bowl passes, this is where we wind up. No way they pass on us, we've never been there and are the type of program they never usually get a chance to select.

I don't see us dropping down to the BBVA Compass, Liberty or Independence bowls. If the unspeakable happens and we lose to Vandy or Ga Southern at home, then we would not go bowling at all...

    I did

Do you really think we are going to lose to Vandy or Ga Southern?

Realty...when I started this thread 'ages ago' there were signs of hope left in our season.
But with the likelihood of 6 or more losses....we'll be lucky to play anyone now...and probably don't deserve it.
And YES....Vandy could easily beat us.

    Offense:
    UF - 109
    Vandy - 72

    Defense:
    UF - 5
    Vandy - 19

Looks like a toss-up to me.

I think we'd be extremely lucky to play in the Chick Fil A bowl. I have a feeling we will be in the Gator Bowl best case scenario.
