POST OF THE THREAD!
Not really....fred makes it look rather easy.
Apparently personal insults are okay now...as long as you include a smiley face.
Not at all six...fred DOES assume all conservatives watch FOX and listens to Rush, when they do not. Personally, I haven't heard Rush in years---and on tv, most of my time is spent on History, NatGeo, and the like. So without question....and as par for the course....fred is WRONG yet once again.
And yes indeed, fred carries on and on about it in such a fashion to make it flow out so easily with his distorted views. He most certainly makes being wrong look extremely easy.....in both quality and quantity.
Oh yeah...almost forgot--
What has Obama excelled at?
Community Organizer? His peers thought he was mediocre at best.
Law student? No transcripts
State politician? Most of his voting records have been destroyed or lost
Professor? Crickets from his so-called students.
Nonprofit leader - his only other executive position for a nonprofit that no longer exists.
US Senator? He didn't even complete one term. Half of his political career has been spent campaigning for his next position.
He's the product of the American resume: Paper thin.
Well, you're half right, and half wrong. Yes, the information was in printed format before/after Bush.
...and yet, Regan, H.W. Bush, and Clinton all had regular meetings about the information after it was read. Obama's definitely not attended the same amount of meetings as have all the other Presidents before him.
And, again, that isn't necessarily a bad mark on him. America hasn't had a major attack since 9-11 and one could argue that a President doesn't need to devote as much time to personnel meetings when the national security apparatus is well-established by now.
Different bosses, different styles. No more, no less. People will have their own idiosyncrasies and if that's how Obama learns the information best (reading the memos and discussing it at a time of his choosing), fair enough, that's his right. Other Presidents preferred to meet with military and intelligence professionals after reading the memos to ask further questions before formulating their opinions. Obama does so too--but not as often as his predecessors. And that seems to be his style: he wants to weigh the information more privately before discussing it with anyone else. Again, that's his right as President. I criticize Obama for a lot of things--this isn't one of them.
Doesn't necessarily mean I agree with it, but I won't criticize him for it.
It was no more a personal insult than implying I have diminishing brain cells due to watching Fox News, or implying I watch Fox News, therefore I am ill-informed and lacking in mental capabilities. And, of course, I did not state that anyone in particular was a simpleton, just that it must be difficult to be one.
The smiley face is useful because if someone that is reading the post actually IS a simpleton, they might enjoy the smiley face. It could brighten their day.
The difference is simply a matter of which way the alleged insult runs.
Left to right, anything is fair game (according to the MSM, and most of the neo-libby posters on here);
However, anything remotely negative flowing Right to Left, is 'Racist', 'personally insulting', 'discriminatory', 'sexist', 'bigoted', or otherwise worthy of invoking victimhood, in order to avoid having to negotiate actual issues.
(Hey, even us simpleton's like to use 's--not just read them in other ppl's posts.)
Fox News, Breitbart, Limbaugh, Heritage...they all get their info from the same place--straight from the RNC.
Saying you don't peruse one of them while using the other 3 is meaningless.
CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC... they all get their info from the same place--straight from the DNC and the WH.
Saying you don't peruse one of them while using the other 4 is meaningless.
you still hittin' Ester???
Actually, I get most of my news from cnn.com (I run it through a filter, of course). I don't watch Fox, I don't listen to Rush, and I don't know who Breitbart and Heritage are. (Where does cnn get their info from?)
Of course Obama is lazy. He's never worked a day in his entire life. He does not understand what it is like to work to earn a living. He's pretty much been handed everything he has, or he has made the most of a good speaking voice. He's our first (and hopefully last) community organizer president. A community organizer does not have to accomplish anything; he just has to listen to the community and blame someone else for their problems. That takes zero leadership skills. Unfortunately, that's exactly what Obama has--zero leadership skills.
We are probably very fortunate that Obama is lazy. His politics are so far left, that if he actually focused his energies on accomplishing things, we would go past socialism and have one foot in the grave of communism right now.
Valerie Jarretts father was a well known communist radio host in Chicago who was friends with Frank Marshall Davis (Obama's mentor) who was also an avowed communist. That's how they were introduced.
Shocking to think that the president might be a leftist.....
0 = Manchurian candidate
VJ = handler
0 was groomed and handled from an early age
Chomp.. Noticed you disagreed (as you do childishly on almost every conservative post). Care to attempt to prove any of the above are false?
Obiviously Rush didn't get the memo as he is constantly bashing the RNC's Rhino's.
Low hanging fruit but you might be right.
