IF for some reason Ohio State plays Florida State in the BCS championship game, who will you root for? As much as I dislike fsu, I dislike osu's head coach more. The perfect scenario would involve osu losing to to Michigan State and AU sliding in vs fsu, but I don't think that's gonna happen. Just wanted the opinion of the board.

Can I just say the set up if we had ended up having a good season this year would have been epic. We would have been set up to possibly knock FSU out of the title game, beat Alabama or Auburn in the SEC Championship game, and crush our old coaches dreams and prove once again OSU doesn't belong in the title game. Could have been legendary.

Doesn't really matter I guess. FSU competes with us more directly for recruits, IMO, but we will recruit well either way. Ryan Sousa, a 4* WR, flipped from FSU to UF after visiting Gainesville and watching the team he was committed to beat us by 30 points so I think we still got it ;).

I'm rooting for Michigan State (and Duke!!!). If neither happens, OSU. And, really, that's easy. There is no scenario within this plane of existence where I will EVER root for F$U in ANYTHING!

It doesn't seem to me that Ohio State has the talent to compete with FSU and almost every FSU fan thinks the same way. All the sweeter if tOSU pulled it off and won, then Fisher high tailed it to Texas like the rumor thread says. Would end this entire football season on an extremely high note for me.

Exactly what I'm thinking. I don't know if I believe (at least not like Foley seems to) that Muschamp can right this ship, but since he's going to get the opportunity.... might as well hope for the best and at least get some decent recruits. :D

Ohio State, although both are completely undeserving if this is in fact the game b/c neither have played a team with a pulse. Officially giving this game the title of Asterisk Bowl presented by Flying Pigs to determine the National Champion*

Florida State = our actual rival

Ohio State = not our rival

Seems pretty cut and dry. The only way it isn't is if you still have some weird ex-girlfriend bitterness because Meyer doesn't coach here anymore. And if so, time to move on.

If F$U played against the Taliban, I would pull for the Taliban. Not happy that Urban left the way that he did, and not a fan of OSU, but would definitely pull for them to beat the SWAC.

I have NO problem admitting that there's a part of me that has that " weird ex-girlfriend bitterness because Meyer doesn't coach here anymore" The only real problem I have with Meyer is the way he decided to handle his departure.

I want to move on, but I'm also happy as a Gators fan that at least one of the two will possibly taste the bitter bitter taste of severe disappointment. What saddens me ,is that it cant be both teams.

I'd first throw up and then watch just to see something bad happen. I really hate FSU, but I REALLY hate Urban Meyer and OSU (before Meyer). I think -1 is better than -2 in most games. Maybe for recruits its better that Meyer wins, but I'm rooting for FSU because I have a family member that went to school there. They are still Gators first but yeah.

    My hierarchy of disgust
    UM/Bama -4
    OSU -2
    FSU -1
    UGA -1
    Rest of SEC -1

I just made this point system up. No real criteria lol

Worst part of all of this if the saga plays out in the way it seems to be headed.
I'd rather not have either one of them and at best OSU looks like a little boy team against FSU if
ShameUs winston is still on the field. All I can hope for lol is Auburn to get in just by strength of the SEC teams.
We did not help out this season with SOS and wins.

Didn't OSU help us win one of our NCs by beating Arizona State, putting us in the NC game? So we owe them one.
