To make it worse there is talk Orr might bolt to the NFL so we will lose Orr and Easley.
How do suppose Muschamp is going to lure in a top notch group of assistants when they know he is a lame duck? Muschamp will not let the OC do his job, what part of our offense the last two years resembled Pease's BSU offense?
How can you suggest Muschamp clean house but give him another in order to understand it? I can't believe Foley is willing to ruin his legacy over a failed coach.
The sentiment does seem to be that we should have a better record next year not because we'll be much better, just that most everybody we play should be worse.
They'd have to be a lot worse. This team has been putrid in the six straight losses.
Not sure we can get any worse
Hiring Kerwin Bell as OC and turning the offense over to him is the only way Muschamp saves his job and this Program.
I had a Tennessee fan in my office today. He said..."Welcome to what we've been going through for all this time." Ouch.
In Christ forever,
What has Bell done to establish himself as an up and coming coach? Nothing. Other than this board he gets no mention.
Is this the same Kerwin Bell whose Jacksonville team lost to the upstart Mercer Bears here in Macon, Ga.....
Does Mercer have athletic scholarships? Because JU does not!
You just run from one mistaken assumption to another. If you think what we did the last two years doesn't resemble the Boise offense with all the unbalanced and heavy formations, pre-snap alignment shifts, and player specific personnel packages, then I wonder if you have ever watched Boise State.
Need some help.....How do you make a Avator?
Just bc pease was at Boise st. doesn't mean he was completely running the offense. Thats like sayin Kirby Smart runs the D at bama. I'm with the guy that said we need to wait. There isn't anyone out there to get besides maybe Petrino. I live 45 min south of Knox. You wanna see messed up program, you get desperate like they did and it KILLS the program. Some of the biggest programs in the nation have had losing skids. That's the problem is there are about 15 college programs that think their team should finish 12-0 EVERY year. I'm not saying I completely support muschamp right now but getting desperate isn't the answer either and if we fire Muschamp now, that's what we look like.
Yet three of those losses were by single-digits, two of the single-digit losses coming with our third-string quarterback in the game. Some of you don't even try to be objective or fair. It is all about these pithy little denigrating one liners.
So true. I thought the Zook firing was premature, but I got why Foley did it because there were two tremendous candidates ready for the taking. But the sentiment here is that you just dump a coach to discipline him for failing in our eyes. That only sets you back as a program. Foley is smart, I suspect he has his eye on a couple of guys, and depending on how next year goes could make a leap.
It hasn't seemed to matter so far.
I'm not sure who is coming up with that, but it's incorrect.
The reason we should be better is because we will have a TON more returning, experienced talent than we did this year. Hopefully, we also have the right pieces in place in the coaching staff... that remains to be seen.
The schedule will be tough though. Bama, LSU and FSU will probably all be top 10 teams. There's a good chance that USC, UGA and Mizzou will all be top 20 teams, and possibly one or more in the top 10. And Vandy could be ranked. This will be a difficult schedule.
Yes it's not like Vandy and Missouri had freshmen backup QBs kill us by double digits...or how a 46 scholarship cupcake team beat us in the swamp.....next week will be 7 losses in a row...WM is amazing! Let's give him a 10 year extension 100 million dollars we almost won 3 games moral victories yay!
