I'll wear blue.
Why? Spring games never tell us anything
New coach, entirely new offense and 3-4 defense won't show us anything?
That means it's back to Saturday. Friday night was not too convenient for out-of-towners.
Thing of it is I don't see that mentioned anywhere on FloridaGators.com, official Gator site. I'd be quite happy with a Saturday afternoon Gator Spring Game on April 14th.
For those that have attended is there a time frame for meeting players either before or after? Also what about touring the ipf and other areas? And lastly can tickets to it and the other sport events that weekend be purchased that day? We are flying in from Texas all weekend and want to make sure we are prepared.
April 14th. 3:00 P.M.
ORANGE And BLUE Spring Game.
It'll show me that The Con man isn't on our sidelines anymore.
3pm? Sort of an odd time. It usually starts at 1 with exception of the last two Friday night starts.
The later start will allow out of towners to make the travel in. I loved the idea of a night game, but Friday nights are impossible if one has to travel after work.
Probably to accomodate TV. Someone else probably has the earlier time slot
The plan in for a big Gator Sports weekend in addition to the O&B game, track & field, baseball, softball, tennis and lacrosse will all be playing at home that weekend. Many have been hoping for an event like this where on one trip you can see additional Gator Sports teams. Baseball with have a series against Missouri and softball will be playing South Carolina. The full schedule of sporting events and times beginning Friday are listed.
Now let's on hope for great weather Apr 13-15th.
