Am I to understand that after five years they managed to get 50 people to show up? I also wasn't real clear on how they were going to go about removing these people from office.

This might also be a good time to add in that any of our posters who are thinking about calling out other members might want to think twice about it. It's a fast way to get some time off and we are cracking down on it again.

Perhaps some who were complaining saw the difference between complaining and actively showing up to advocate for a government overthrow? Folks can be mad all they want about politics - and that's for either side - but to physically show up somewhere and support/try to cause forced removal of those in power is tantamount to treason. You want change? Vote. You voted wrong? Own up to your mistakes in voting for the wrong person, educate yourself and do better next time.

First I've heard of it. My guess is that most "potential attendees" would be discouraged from attending for fear of the the IRS, DOJ or NSA.

Best bet is to elect a Pub Senate and further neuter the nogginhead though he will continue to do what he wishes by executive order, including issuing himself a future pardon for the "destruction of America's respect" internationally.

I'm not sure that free flat screens and Ben and Jerry's for life would get 30m Americans together.

    30 million? Wha?

I don't know...that raspberry core/raspberry ice cream/dark chocolate ice cream/chocolate chip concoction they serve is better than...well...you know. Almost as good as the Godiva ice cream version.

Spoken like a man and someone who probably hasn't had Godiva ice cream. I kid you not.

Only comes slightly second, though, to these Swiss chocolates that are filled with champagne that my husband brings home from business trips overseas. Some women want jewelry or flowers, all I want is those things. OMG literally LITERALLY had one when eating those. :D

    But I digress....

Back to the subject at hand - I think this would've been a terrible idea anyways.

If there had been any Republicans on Colonel Riley's list, the threat would have been taken more seriously beforehand. As long as they know it's just another partisan statist crapping his diaper, they don't care.

What can I say? The "dumb" rating should be brought back just so everyone can give it to me for that.

The Leftists protest everything, so it's a nice change of pace to see the Right doing it to the Dems for a change. Remember Occupy Wall Street? I see this protest more as legal and symbolic anger being voiced more than anything close to treasonous.

Bribery beats grass roots organizing 8 days a week in Lawyerland. You could have a rally of 50 in DC that supports a liberal cause and it would get way more media attention than one of 100,000+ for a conservative rally (see Roe).

    1. There are lots of conservative protests.
    2. If this is 'the right doing it to the dems,' they're not doing it very well, are they?

oh you guys....it has been only 6 years since you last had a leader you voted for in the WH....you really, honestly, think things will change for the average person, based on whom you elect to office?

your, our best bet, is to force campaign finance reform, that will neuter special interests that currently own our government

Look at all that infrastructure. All those porta-johns. The vendors. The crowd control. The security. Yeah, they certainly expected 30mil all right.
