Sounds like the staff is creating the openings they need for new recruits

It's OK. The offensive line was a bright spot this year and we're loaded at the position. Geez.

The unproductive are being pushed out. This way we can compete with the SEC powers that do this.

From what I have heard the players who are buried like Ledbetter and Young are being told that they can transfer elsewhere if they want playing time. People are reporting anywhere from 5-9 transfers will be coming. So far it's Young and Ledbetter. Young was buried and was never gonna play. I'm not sure why we offered him last year.

He was a reach. He didn't reach - at least not quickly enough.

He loves hoops and he has a schollie at a good school.

Nothing hurt - all good for him and us.

Yeah we need to get a lot better at roster management, talent evaluation, and player development. How is it that we keep signing top classes yet severely lack major talent , have no depth, and yet at the same time have so few scholarships available for this next class?

Essentially we have a full roster but not too many who can play worth a darn. Something ain't right

If this is in fact the case, I'm glad Muschamp is finally doing it. We need to keep up if we want to stay competitive.

Muschamp said a couple weeks ago that he has 74 scholarship athletes coming back in the spring. That only leaves 11 scholarship openings and we currently have 15 or 16 commits.

This is the time to shed players that are not happy, not contributing, not conforming or not performing.

If Trevon Young wants to play basketball and if Raheim Ledbetter is buried in the depth chart, we should be happy for them and the other four or five athletes that need to leave and make room for the class of 2014.

With a loaded depth chart at the position, we can now take some true frosh that will be ready in a couple years.

If all we lose to transfers is quinteze williams, young and Ledbetter type guys and not the d-robs and Kent Taylors then we are only getting better opening shollys for our remaining targets like adoree jackson and others. Hopefully we can pull a smooth one and sneak tabor in with this class too.

Considering the injuries and suspensions, I am surprised he didn't attempt to walk on the Gator Basketball team
