Offensive lineman Jordan Sims (6-4, 348, Homewood, AL High): “It’s very shocking to me. This will definitely slow things down between us. I really enjoyed talking with coach Davis he was very energetic. I will still take an official to Florida though.”

Offensive lineman Dontae Angus (6-6, 330, Philadelphia, PA M L King): “It affects my recruitment because Coach Davis was the one that was always calling to check up on me and see how I was doing. I didn’t talk to any other coach but Coach Davis.”

Shouldn't be an issue once we get someone in place.

we need to just hire a solid coach and let him meet with our guys, and get that line of communication going. We have got to have some depth on the line this class.

No they better make the right hire I dont care how long it takes. I doubt Angus or Sims have that many options.

I didn't say anything about the time frame, I don't care how long it takes either, but the sooner we get a good coach hired the better its going to be for the recruiting class.

Considering that our rivals oversign, why would they refuse either one of them? I'm assuming these guys are highly rated, if we're looking at them.

Hmmm...Bama, FSU, scUM, LSU, Poodles, Clemson all compete with us in recruiting. You don't think one of them wouldn't offer this kid, especially in early December. They can't all be full by now.

Seeing that he is from Philly, Penn State would jump through hoops for this kid.

nope all of them are full at OL besides FSU and LSU. FSU UGA not even pushing for Sharpe. Clemson was only going to give a spot to Kehelller

I can understand that they are full, but if a program routinely oversigns and you weaken our class in the process, why wouldn't you? You have to know that our rivals smell blood right now. Why not drive the knife in further, like Urban and the coach at Illinois did to Bill O'Brien.

Unless, of course, he wasn't high on their boards to begin with.

Penn State is limited in numbers, but still, if this kid is that good and he's not happy with the changes at UF, why would you find a spot for him?

I know the Poodles have cleaned up in OL the couple of years, just suprised that the others wouldn't try to exploit our weakness. I know these coaches are friends, but I think they try to clean each other's clocks regardless.

I dont think he was high on their boards or even on their radar he has an interesting situation and he might now even qualify. This not happy with changes thing is prob also overblown.
