Who is the OL coach at Louisville?

I thought his OL did a tremendous job tonight (as they did against UF the year before), as they blocked very well and picked up lots of blitzes pretty well. There were some breakdowns here or there of course but overall, UL's OL coach should at least be someone we could take a look at as our new assistant.

Yeah, but they managed to shut down our OL's ability to run the ball pretty darned well.

Charlie has assembled a very good staff at Louisville. With the chips falling in the right places, he could be in line for an even better job this year or next. Who knows where he might end up (wink wink)? He would certainly take his staff with him. It will take a special set of circumstances to attract a top OL coach to UF this year. I'm hoping our new OC has input. His experience in the ACC might give us some insight as they have a number of hurry-up offenses.

We rushed for like 122 yards and I think our own OL shut down our OL :)

Louisville looses Bridgewater to the NFL and we'll get a good indication of how good their staff really is next year. It is obvious that Charlie's time with the HBC's he worked under have prepared him to be a winning HBC.

Yeah, but I thought we didn't want him because his wife is white. (that was sarcasm, as that's what is written everytime his name comes up for a job).

Its sad but true. Not us but there were many rumblings about that. Some schools didn't want such a polarized issue to be attached to there HC. to bad for them. They missed on a good one

Do people really worry about that kind of stuff anymore. ? If this prevails here than we are no better than The old mascot for Ole Miss. The old Rebel

Yes, IF you are unproven. Look at the angst in our posts regarding our OC.

And then look at the posts regarding our lack of HC skill and Petrino. Once you prove yourself, nothing about your personal life (unlawful activities notwithstanding) will keep you down.

Watch Texas tonight. Stacy Searels is the OL coach for the Longhorns and a strong candidate in Gainesville.

The o-line looks impressive. The QBs for Texas just look terrible.

On their one score of the game they ran power right down Oregon's throat. Oregon is just too talented and too fast.

I have not been impressed with the Texas OLine tonight. Oregon has dominated the game on both sides of the line.
Texas has missed some big plays on offense. The one running back has been the Texas offense.
