Do you think our OL is doing better or worse than last year at this time?

    Same question on the DL.

I think our O-line was good for the first half of last year but injuries mounted and they ended the season in a struggle.

So far I think OL is slighty better at this time than last year. As to DL, i think the same thing is true, but the inside/outside strength is reversed.

Our pass protection the last three games has been very solid. A lot of that has to do with Murphy, who I think has a more natural feel for pressure than Driskel did, but they're stoning people on the ends a bit more than last year.

On the flip side, our interior was blown up several times against Arkansas when we attempted to run the ball. The best competition we've played has more or less shut down our running game.

I haven't seen a huge change on the line. More speed on the edge, less girth in the middle.

DL better between the tackles last year but better at DE this year. Maybe that's a wash but I prefer being stout up the middle

Don't know what to make of our OL

Spot on. OL did not play well in 2 games this year. UM and Arkansas we really could not run the ball. I think we will be able to run the ball at LSU though. DL you take away Floyd and Easley you are losing $$$ that you cannot replace. We are better at DE this year.

O-line below average & worse than last year, much worse in the run game. D-line above average & overall about the same as last year, but the strength seems to be more from the outside.

We're better at pass protection than we were last year (even accounting for Murphy's pocket awareness abilities, we had looked much better in the games Driskel had played in too)...but seemingly worse on run blocking.

Our DL is about the same, but our strength is our DEs as opposed to the middle last year.
