I like AZ and agree that he provides quality insight, but I don't think Franz needs to be disparaged in the process of saying that.

I think the four folks who told Franz something false, all separately and independently should be asked by Franz to explain themselves. This whole insider secrecy and protecting sources to make GC look superior in order to justify charging a fee is BS. Insider Schminsider. Give me an outsider.

How would you know about GC's inside info if you're not one yourself? Probably should pay for an insider account if you want inside info. I used to be one, but my finances eventually dictated otherwise.

no reason to attack Franz he has had great info for a long time but you cant defend GC on this one. There are some things you have to be 100 percent sure on to publish and this is one.

I dont know Bostwick but if it was my kid I know I would be livid. I think the apology that was given was also bad.

"We goof we apologize" Then talk about what you got right and how only one part of your info was wrong.

It doesn't seem sincere at all

I was an insider for 3 or 4 years, then I realized there is no inside info anymore and i was paying monthly frees for sunshine pumping and Franz worshipping. Insider boards were more civil, but there was no room for diverse opinions. everyone was a fainting goat because that reference was so awesome.

Sources dried up with Meyer who controlled everything. He eliminated inside sources. Even if there were inside info it is public on Twitter in 30 minutes and on the free board in 45.

Insider has more basketball news but I just don't value it enough to pay. The best basketball insider was Coach Sayre who posted frequently on free boards. Best recruiting poster was also on free board, SU. Inside guys would leave and go to free biard for SU info. Unfortunately he was showing up the GC "insiders" and got banned. I fear GATORAZ is on the same path. He is a threat to "the man" because he has a following and his info is free.

So do you know what apologies or explanations may have been sent to Bostwick's family or individually? If one was indeed sent--which I would expect was--I would wager it came across as very sincere and deeply apologetic. Ray is a good guy and would not do anything short of first class all this way in an instance like this.

Public statements and individual apologies/explanations are typically quite different.

I do not know what they said to the Bostwick family privately(if they said anything) I read what they said publicly and it did not come off sincere to me.

I think GC apologized and explained themselves clearly. Happy with that.

Please, please give us an example of what should have been said. Would love to hear it.
