You just couldn't make a post without rubbing our noses in some asshat, could you? Tilly isn't the one who needs to apologize.

Nothing wrong with being loyal to a fault, and that means I'd always love to have you covering my back. It's a commendable quality IMO.

I felt just like you until after the Mizzou game, but I finally saw the light.

I'm not buying it tilly. I think you're caught up right now...give it a day. Three gift TDs - two on terrible throws by a backup QB with limited skills playing behind a devastated O line - does not make a blow out.

Our Gators showed pride today, but came up short. But this is what a team that has lost eight starters to season ending injuries at the most important positions on the field looks like. Vandy won 8 games last year and beat Georgia this year. They are not a bad team. They are certainly good enough to beat a no-room-for-error team when it makes a few critical errors.

This is the SEC. No shame in losing to any SEC team. Disappointment, sure, but shame? Never.

Sumlin would be nice...although is there enough of a reason to leave TAMU?

    Well said. My thoughts exactly.

I truly believed Muschamp was a great hire. I thought the Zook comparisons were laughable (still do). But, for whatever reason or maybe a lot of different reasons, it just hasn't worked out. Time to go in a different direction.

The problem with blaming this game on injuries is that Vandy was playing with their backup quarterback.

Blaming a game on turnovers doesn't work either. Part of the game. If you follow that logic through to conclusion, take away our wins from LSU, USCe, and FSU from last season.

    In Christ forever,
    Mike

The bolded is spot on. Will didnt throw those picks, miss any blocks, drop any passes. Now the playcalling for 4 downs inside the 5yrd line, is another matter..

It's alright, Tilly. I think most of us had Muschamp's back. Some just jumped off the ship at earlier points than others. Can't fault you for being positive and hanging in until the clear end.

For me personally, when Muschamp came in I felt he would energize the program, he's a likable guy, he can recruit his butt off, and he's an absolute animal when it comes to coaching defense. I've like him since his time at Auburn and lauded the hire. While it's hard to accept, the writing is on the wall now and it's really tough to defend him, as much as I'd like to. I just don't think he has the stones to be HBC at a blue chip program.

Vandy also has had plenty of injuries this season too. A Vandy beat reporter thought their situation was worse than UF. There are no excuses for getting blown at to Vandy at home during homecoming. Embarrassing.
