Solid post. Stoops (realistically) is the ONLY name i see out there with all the requirements I would be willing to replace WM with.

In the mind of other coaches, is the Vandy loss enough justification to fire Muschamp, or will coaches shy away because they feel no coach could win in UF's current situation? Will coaches think the UF fan base is intolerable? If the next coach isn't better, then what - how far could that set the program back? If we keep Muschamp & he doesn't get better, is that better or worse than another mis-hire?

I keep thinking about f$u. Fisher was on thin ice, with booster discussions over whether he should be fired. Mostly, his o-line was a joke. f$u brought in 11 or so o-linemen two years ago. In the off-season before this year Fisher basically got rid of his entire staff to keep his job because he knew he finally had the players to run his system. How could a brand new staff come together this quickly & how could the players adapt as quickly as they have?

Brian White called the plays against tOSU in the Gator Bowl. I assume that's what he meant.

Chris Petersen is 90-11 at Boise State. That's an .891 winning percentage. He's the only two-time winner of the Bear Bryant Award for best coach. He's only 49, and he's only making $2 million a year at BSU. We can GET this guy. I'm confident that he's hungry to achieve greatness at the next level, and be knows the new playoff system will make it nearly impossible for BSU to contend for a title. His arrival will revive the excitement and passion in players, fans and recruits that we've clearly lost.

    He's a perfect fit.

JF would never allow himself to be rejected by Stoops thrice (or would it be four times by now).

Well JF says he only went after WM in 2010. So Stoops has only rejected him twice so far :D

He's consistently overproduced on the field when looking at the players he's able to recruit to Boise. I like Petersen.

    Here's my list:
    1. Petersen
    2. Stoops
    3. Sumlin
    4. Petrino

If Peterson would actually come here, Ill take him.

Sumlin is along for the ride at Tamu unless he sees his team going down the tube when that idiot leaves to be a career backup in the NFL.

Durkin's defense has been an unmitigated disaster this season. He'd be the one I'd fire right after Muschamp, Pease, and Davis.

My friend, they didn't fire Fisher because fsu couldn't afford to fire him and hire someone else. He was fortunate enough to luck into Jameis Winston but with that said, there will be a lot of teams next season who will be a lot better prepared for fsu with a full season of film to work from.

Blood is required so fire Pease and give Muschamp one more year.

Fisher getting Winston is akin to Chizik lucking into Cam. With no Cam--Chizik does NOT win BCS. Without Winston this year--Fisher would not be sniffing at getting to BCS.

Does forum policy allow us to state our opinion on who we want "gone"?

    Just asking.
