At home, no less!
Behind FSU, they are my #2 most hated program. I can't stand OSU. Glad they never win anything.
OSU is actually my most detested team, especially in football. Their fans strut around like they own the joint, when in reality they are so overrated it's hilarious. At least FSU earns their spot.
Beating OSU for both the football and basketball nattys in 2007 was one of the greatest things ever.
Ha, that's two straight losses!
Two more ranked teams also lost today.....Colorado and Illinois. Also no. 1 Arizona is in a dog fight with USC.
It wouldn't surprise me if Zona got upset tonight. They'll probably pull away late, though.
OSU, as the state flagship university, has all sorts of advantages over any other school in the state, like Akron, Ohio, Miami-Ohio or Cincinnati. And, as an Elite AAU institution, it receives more respect than it deserves.
So, the strutting is not unexpected, although in most things, undeserved.
Kenpom had Iowa as pretty close to OSU before the game. Now has them ahead. OSU feasted on a very weak schedule.
Could be, but OSU still has the top KenPom defense. Their offense seem unbelievably inefficient however. Wow.
TOSU loses once they play a ranked team?...and two in a row? Where have I heard this story?
Ohio State is not very good. Lost to both ranked teams they played. Barely, I mean barely beat an average ND team. No impressive wins at all for them besides Marquette...who is also very, very average.
They just lost at Minny, third in a row, first time in 5 years.
Nice to hear.
SOFT like charmin
Always a good day when OSU goes down.
3 straight losses. All is not well in the nuthouse at colombus
Yup...ain't it grand?
I think I said this in a thread during the OSU/MSU game, but this team is terribly overrated (and I said I wouldn't have them going to the Sweet 16), and I agree with the earlier poster that all they did was destroy a weak schedule.
A shame the story will be more about OSU losing, cause Pitino has Minny playing well.
Yes, maleko. Of course, they always schedule the easiest opponents they can because they have such high status that they don't need to schedule real competition to gain high rankings. This, unfortunately, is true both in football and basketball. Of course, in football, the Big 10 itself is a joke. However, in basketball, there are several good teams in the Big 10, so, they must creampuff up their OOC schedule as much as possible to increase their win record.
A truly pathetic example of an athletic powerhouse.
