I thought in episode one this season they said he was a loner that had just joined them, not from Woodburry?

I thought they said Daryl found him on one of his outings. From what I gathered not all the new people were from woodberry. The have been collecting people when they find them.

Remember most of the able people from woodberry were killed by the governor. Those left were either the young or old who couldn't fight the prison.

Bob isn't from Woodbury, they found him at the store right at the beginning of this season.

In the comic, Bob was with the governor so who knows whats going to happen now that they found him instead of him just being in Woodbury. I like his character so I hope they went away from the comic story line and gave him a new one as a good guy.

Used to love the show, but they do way too much stupid stuff now days.

They are all going about their business, ignoring the zombies building up on the fence UNTIL the fence starts to give.

Then they go about fighting them there, rather than trying to get them to follow them to a different part of the fence.

Then they get the truck and kill the pigs to get them to leave the fence... all they had to do was yell at them and they would have followed the truck and left the fence.

Lots of good stuff but the dumb stuff is starting to get to me.

Carol all huggy on that girl who was sick...

The Doc going in to the sicko's "cause he had to" ... like none of the sick could have helped them selves and others?

I think the pigs were an important part of getting inside Ricks thought process now. After last season he didn't want to be the leader anymore because he made so many bad decisions according to him. He also wanted to try and get Carl back to normal after killing that kid. I think the killing of the pigs was a way of showing that Rick finally realizes there is no chance of "normal" life anymore which is why he gave Carl back his gun and strapped his gun belt back on himself right after that scene.

^^^ I agree with this. I think the writers used the pigs more for symbolism than a practical way to distract the zombies. I like the route we're on so far

Im guessing Hershel dies soon. After filming one day this summer, they had a big dinner and a bunch of cast members were taking pictures with him. I think Glenn was even wearing his trademark overalls in a picture that day.

Is there a source for this? That would be bad news. They originally planned to kill him off at his farm.

BTW I think Hershel should get his faith back. The way the cars never run out of gas is nothing short of a miracle.

They posted pictures on the walking dead twitter or it was the cast members twitter, can't remember which. Apparently, (this is just forum chatter so take it fwiw) when they have big dinners someone died and on that same day was when Glenn was wearing his overalls and other cast members were taking picture with him.

There is a lot of info at spoilthedead.com

You don't have to worry about spoilers because you have to sign up just to read that subforum. There is a ton of discussion there and they post all the pictures similar to what I said above.

20 minutes in, Jericho is the most insightful guest I have seen on talking dead.

Guy's making really good sense and I've always had a thing for Gilly so this is a good one. Plus after last week two monkeys throwing shit would pass.

I don't see that, but they are definitely leaving all avenues open for a pretty wild season.

Agreed. Don't necessarily agree with him on siding with Carol, but the guy was articulate and thought it through.
