That is as bad as I've ever seen in this forum as far as anyone posting a racial hate crime pic.
I'm pretty sure the vast majority of white people do not condone what some ass backward KKK members in Alabama did to that kid shown above (circa 1981).
If I was Zimmerman I would leave the country if aquitted.
My impulse was to edit it out of the posts -- can do that much on phone -- but not going to because it should be there for the consideration of any of my fellow mods in response to whatever totally legitimate complaints such a loathesome post received. As a general reminder guys... don't quote crappy and objectionable posts, because you are only perpetuating the content.
As to the case, heard a head on HLN on XM suggest the jury may actually have reached a verdict but decided to sleep on it. Sounds plausible.
I still don't see any chance that there is consideration of the top count going on. I don't think a manslaughter conviction satisfies the legal requirements to be upheld, but I can understand them wanting to entertain the notion or having lengthy debate over it. But ultimately I still see an acquittal coming.
Now, question for someone higher up the food chain -- can a jury in this case make a statement with the judge's permission? It occurred to me they might want to scold the defendant even as they acquit him.
No shade, I stated the obvious, It is a tragedy that a person lost his life and the color doesn't matter or race or even gender.
But you have been blind to the facts in this case since the beginning.
Travon was a trouble maker. The facts back it up. The chance of him continuing to head down the wrong path was pretty high.
Concur. The outrage is largely manufactured, and centered in the upper level of black community (i.e.-the educated class) and the educated liberal elites--neither of which actually take to the street (but the latter of which appears to be secretly hoping they will have sucessfully baited the lower levels to...).
Yeah that's what they think he needs, a good scolding.
all u need to know is that prezbo and his DOJ made this a racial issue
Some history on the above picture.
Shade, the person who did that was convicted by a white jury.
A very rational response. I would like to thank Lawdog and Michigator for their responses and knowledge in these threads. I have learned quite a bit from you guys.
I could too, and I explained this in the first thread. Many times, IWB holsters or even OWB's are usually at the four o'clock position, not even blocked by the knee.
Regardless, I could have gotten my gun free. Only someone who knows nothing about guns or holsters would not be able to comprehend that.
GZ has more of a record than TM but i doubt your feel he will commit another crime later in life, right?
Save the BS.
I really hope you're right Mich.
do we really know that-= minors records are usually sealed aren't they?
The holster was in the back of the inside of his pants on the right hip. Hopefully, this will be the deciding factor to give GZ life.
If he lied about the smothering and seeing the gun at the same time it's not to hard to figure out that he's lying about shooting TM while he was begging for his life. The only appropriate punishment is life in prison.
His school records were supposed to be sealed as well but that didn't stop those who wanted to access them.
He was never arrested in his life per his mother but i don't know...maybe she is a liar. I feel if he had we would know by now. I'm sure someone would've leaked it to smear him.
Not BS Shade just plain ole facts.
Since it is really the only thing a jury following the instructions could give him, would you rather that or nothing?
The facts? Oh the facts he was a young black male who smoked weed or whatever you know for a fact he did, so he was certainly destined for prison? So yeah, might as well shoot him in the heart now.
So with this being the start of the weekend, does the jury re-convene tomorrow and could possibly have a verdict Saturday? Not exactly sure how that works.
