Not going to pin this one right now but I wanted to get it up because I have to leave for awhile.
If SFA gets beat...... do we have the nations longest winning streak?
Rooting for SF Austin
Doesn't really matter to me. We should beat either SFA or UCLA in the Sweet 16. Would be funny to go through UCLA again, though, like in our last two title runs.
UCLA starting to pull away...up 32-21 now.
Hey...where did all these white guys come from?
what are UCLA's strengths and weaknesses? I haven't been able to watch this game yet (or any other of their games).
SFA's entire team is in foul trouble. Just hit back to back 3's to cut an 11 point lead to 5 with 4 minutes left in 1st half.
Steve Alford is a good coach, though. I used to go to his camps in Iowa when I was young (not that he was there to coach us). But, I've followed his career.
Anderson gets calls like he is Michael Jordan or plays for Kentucky.
Does either of these teams worry anyone? High scoring first half but pretty sloppy.
No, neither team looks impressive right now
Strength is Kyle Anderson, weakness is having Bill Walton call your games
Where are the UCLA fans? It's about a 2.5 hour drive & I see lots of empty seats.
UCLA is good in transition. Luckily we have the best transition defense in the nation. Their defense is suspect.
Does anyone know if UCLA is gonna head straight to Memphis and stay the week? Would be a nice advantage if they have to fly cross country. Even then it should be a nice advantage for our guys to be able to head back to Gainesville.
Good point about their transition O. That bodes well for us.
Pitt was a better team, IMO. Not too worried about UCLA. Donovan is the best coach in the country at shutting down individual talents. They could beat us, obviously, but I don't like their chances.
From the little I've watched, I feel like we have a very very favorable matchup with them.
