while I do not see any way he is actually guilty, the evidence just does not support the charges- but I am also well aware of the emotionalism the Prosecutor used plus the racial fear

Should the State be selling emotionalism ? Or evidence ?

I think the media is allowed to start reporting more information about the makeup of the jury now. Interested to see if I was right that there are at least two schoolteachers on there. High school teachers damn well know that a 17-year old like Trayvon Martin is no "child." Elementary teachers might be a little more charitable.

Whereas middle school teachers hate everybody, and with good reason.

Not my point. Knowing what you know about Zimmerman and life in general. Would you want THAT guy patrolling your street with your kids running around? Having been involved in a neighborhood watch program before, the guy broke the first two rules.

Why is THAT your question? THAT is not relevant to anything.

Happily so. We've had a rash of occurrences concerning the house just to the back of us - which is in foreclosure - with people trying to break in, jiggering locks, etc., etc.

I need GZ on the block. Of course, they have not ventured over the fence and onto my property. Which is a good thing for them.

I would have said not really before the prosecutions case being biased in that there has not been any criminal issues in my neighborhood to deal with like Zimmerman so it was an unfair preference on my part.

After the prosecutions case I would have zero issue with Zimmerman roaming the streets around me.

By the way just to answer THAT irrelevant question, no, I would not want GZ roaming my street as neighborhood watchman. He's not aggressive enough.

I expect a not guilty verdict by 11 pm tonight. The first riots will be in Miami.

I wouldnt want to live near GZ. Then again I wouldn't want to live near some of the posters on this thread and I'm sure they would feel the same about me. I dont understand the question.

Absolutely not. He broke the rules while being the one in charge of enforcing the rules. If GZ, once acquitted, shows up in my neighborhood and volunteers for the watch, I will not support it. That said, I don't think the jury has been given any instructions on GZ's future ability to serve on a neighborhood watch.

Now ask me if I'm willing to send him to prison for the rest of his life for breaking the first two rules of being an ethical neighborhood watch officer.

LOL. I stand by my earlier predictions that there will be NO RIOTING or disturbances of any significance, regardless of outcome.

Maybe LD or somebody can tell us how late into the night criminal juries typically continue deliberating. In my line of work nobody's life or liberty is on the line so they typically don't stay past dinnertime.

What are the first two rules of neighborhood watch?
Too look out for suspicious persons or strangers in a neighborhood? to report suspicious activity in a neighborhood?
Do any "watchers" carry a gun, legally?

Anybody in Florida can carry a gun legally if they have a permit, which Zimmerman did.
