67-58 Good guys.
Billy needs to light some kind of fire.
Does Richmond practice out of control three point bank shots? I have never seen a team take (and make) as many of those.
Only six assists for the game & 13 TO's.
Wow...that was a kinda scary game.
Hope it makes us tournament tough.
Frazier saved us in that one
What? We just won a tough, hard fought non-conference game when we couldn't buy a bucket at times.. This is the sort of contest you get in the first round of the tournament.
Not the prettiest game ever, but better than losing. Hopefully we got whatever that was out of our system.
FTs seem to be the only serious weakness we have generationally. Am sure coach will look into ways of improving that.
Wasn't there a hoops movie that had a guy that couldn't shoot free throws, and the coach trained him to?
Plug your nose, take the W and get ready for wind sprints at practice tomorrow.
Over. Man that was painful. But a nine point win. I'll take it.
Good to see the team battle through a poor offensive game and win.
We have really been terrible all season for a Donovan team in terms of our a/to ratio. But when you 46% (probably even worse on first shots of a possession), and 26% from 3, you aren't going to have a ton of assists.
Lethargy and bad shooting decisions fire, that's what.
Glad I was wrong about Wilbekin and Prather... both really stepped up at the end
Not understanding our bad free-throw shooting (53% this time around).
You really have to practice to be this bad.
We really weren't lethargic defensively, especially in the first half, and our shot selection was mixed, but hardly terrible. It tends to look like a bad shot when you are getting hand checked on the perimeter, bumped in the lane, and arm barred and held in the post. Absolutely nothing was called (either way) until the last eight minutes of the game.
FT's will be our downfall. Good as a turnover at steal or foul time.
