You nailed it at half time! Great post. Hysterical that a Gator fan disagreed with you.

Thanks Brewski - I appreciate it.

I figured a player only has so many shots he can make per game. I felt the punk had already used all his up in that first half. But I didn't expect him to lay a goose egg the entire second half - that was freeking awesome!

It's funny...ESPN had an article a few weeks back about how Henderson had "changed" and was "more mature now"--not wanting to be the "bad guy" anymore.

Leopards don't change their spots, as the saying goes. The guy is a punk, was a punk, and will always be a punk.

But a great win for the Gators to keep the win streak going, showing our diversity along the way--usually, we don't win with our offense and our 3-point prowess, but yesterday, we did.

Is it my imagination or does this team seem to have that same kind of character? I know they aren't more talented but they play with a winner's confidence.

I didn't read any of this thread yesterday and only got part way through half-time reading it today.

    Jeez.

Henderson is one of the best "bad shot" shooters I have ever seen. He was hitting better than normal in the first half. It was a real show. I give him props for that and if he could have kept that up for the entire game so be it. Good for us Gators that he didn't.

And while he might have been too extreme last year I didn't see anything outside of acceptable by Henderson yesterday. Yes, a couple of times he was excited but nothing outside what is acceptable on the court.

Give the guy a break. He has to play at Ole Miss. Isn't that punishment enough?

Imagine if Henderson was well coached and took better shots? He would be one of the best in the country.

Actually I don't think so. His ability to hit really hard shots is what makes him unique.

He would have a hard time playing on a team coached by Billy.
