The Gators make a short trip up to Jacksonville to take on the Dolphins in the sixth game of the season. Florida comes in at 4-1 while JU brings a 2-3 record into the contest. The only blemish on the Gators season so far is a 59-53 setback at Wisconsin. The Dolphins have lost to FSU 91-67, Gardner-Webb 87-78, and Wake Forrest 90-83. Of those three losses both WF and FSU are having solid seasons while Gardner-Webb is also struggling so it is kind of hard to judge very much about this team when looking at their record so far. The Gators on the other hand got some much needed good news when Coach Donovan announced starting PG Scottie Wilbekin will be rejoining the team in time for this game. This is great news for a team that lost its other PG Hill to an injury two games ago. If the Gators play up to their potential I can't see this being a particularly trying game for them but it's sports and anything can happen. For myself I would like to see our team get off to a good start in this game which is one area that has been a bit troubling. Kind of hard to believe we are already six games into the season and the holidays season is fast approaching. Go Gators!! Listen to the game here More info on the matchup here.
