Fresno with the unnecessary exaggerated over the back hack
Not counting the LOL shot at the end UF wins 66-46
Not our best game on the year, but great to get a win heading into Christmas. Go Gators!
Playing in a big arena, coming off a tough stretch, and heading toward the Christmas Holidays. Not a bad win at all.
These announcers kept harping on FSU Jr's offense, obviously they had not played a defense like the Gators.
Fresno Averages 76 points per game. Not a bad defensive game by any stretch
Yup...a 17-point win, just like Vegas ordered.
When Billy emptied the bench, I told my wife that the Gators would not score at the end, and that the final margin would be exactly 17 points. She is still wondering how I knew. I just told her, "Steve Wynn runs college basketball."
I don't bet on sports, so it's just another Gator win to me.
I called that shot halfway through the second half. I told my wife, "the spread is 17, so if the Gators are up 20 at the end and Fresno State has the ball last, they will jack up a BS 3, and it will go in." Called it. Balled it. Stole yo mama's credit card and went shopping at the mall'd it.
Any word on kasey? I didn't see him back in after that tweak he had.
He was only in the locker room for a couple of min....not sure if he tweaked it or if he was sick today. Didnt look gimpy even though the announcers said he tweaked it. He didn't look like himself today, hoping it was a cold instead of his ankle.
He has 8 days to recover or we could just sit him for 2 weeks until the Richmond game.
Very nice win heading into the Christmas break. Congrats to the guys. Go Gators!!
Born, please don't expect us to be like UK fans , who actually give a damn. This is Florida basketball where 90% of Gator fans don't even know we are playing.
He stepped on the back of someone's foot, thought it was the left ankle, not the right that he injured. Donovan said he could have gone back in the game but he decided to rest him.
I was pleased to see Hill get another couple of threes down, in particular that second half shot off the high ball screen. That is the single biggest shot in our entire offense and he read it well, saw the defender going under the screen, set his feet, squared his shoulders, and drained it. If he can make that shot with some degree of regularity going forward, we will be very tough to defend given his ability to get in the lane.
The upside to Hill resting was seeing Devon Walker play some more. That was his most extensive action since the injury and he looked solid. His three out of the timeout was great, he seemed active defensively, and he looked more confident after the shot went down. He is going to be important as that fifth guard/wing in our rotation, even for only 8-12 minutes a night, just to keep everyone else fresh. I also really like him in the press.
A fact made worse by an athletic department that can't even make good in-game box scores available.
A fact made even worse by game threads that never give the score. At least there's one baseball poster who helps with that.
I pledge to do better on that front.
Espn gametracker, might want to give it a whirl.
the score was given every now and then in this thread
They didn't have a box for the game on Saturday. First time all year outside of the exhibition.
