Well our hits just keep on coming. Right when everyone seems to get healed up the injury bug strikes again. For any that haven't read the other threads on this we will be without our top scorer, Casey Prather, for the trip to Arkie. Also Patric is having trouble with his knees and if he does play will not be a 100%. Scottie is a game-time decision but he is going to be limited and Frazier missed a day of practice due to a knee to his calf muscle. The only good thing to this is at first they thought Casey's injury was worse than the final diagnosis. There is no cartilage or similar type of damage, which was their initial fear. On top of that the NCAA must be reading our threads and we have totally pissed them off as Walker does not look to be playing tomorrow either. What I keep hoping for is all these issues are front end loaded and thing will turn around for us as we move further into the season. I mean we can hope.................can't we?

So off we go to one of the toughest venues in the SEC to play a team that has around 11 players averaging double minutes with a banged up squad and what could be a six man rotation once again. The sport's gods have not been kind to the Gator teams this year and quite frankly I feel this is getting a bit ridiculous. Of course I can't find an official complaint department or I would post their email address. They just better hope they don't call me for a donation though because it ain't going to happen.

This seems to be a pretty good Arkansas squad as they are 11-3 on the season and undefeated at home. They did lose their conference opener to Texas A&M but it was on the road. They also beat a good Minnesota team on the road so I foresee a tough game tomorrow. I want to say I think we are going to win but right now it is hard to be optimistic with the injuries. On the other hand that is why you play the game and we will still have some good players available so a win is still very possible.

    Go Gators!!!!

We're 2.5 pt underdogs right now and that's just using pure point predictors. No one has actually jumped on the line because of the injuries. That's most likely because predictors underrate us because of our earlier injuries.

College basketball home court is 5 points, so what the predictor is saying is that our currently injured team should lose by 2 to 3 points, so it's not so bleak even with the injuries. With a healthy team, we'd probably win by 5 to 10 in the road.

If Scottie is close to being able to give us some quality minutes things will be considerable better.

Frazier was not listed as a probable starter yesterday but that could have changed

Without Prather, we are already offensively challenged. I hope Frazier can give us 30 minutes

Time for DFS to take over & for DeVon Walker to have a game where we get excited about his future.

How did it come to pass that Arky has 9 guards on their roster and we can barely find 2 healthy ones to start for us?
It's also rare for us to find a big man 6' 10" or above, but again....Arky has 2 serviceable freshmen who are all that.

Good to heat Scottie at least looks comfortable. Who knows how much pain he's playing through, but he's a tough kid. It would be a tough game with all of our players healthy -- that's life in Bud Walton Arena. We just need to play smart, controlled basketball and take big plays as they come. When we start pressing, we typically see a decrease in efficiency and quality of play.

I expressed the same sentiment about our football recruiting - UT has 7 DB commits & 20 over the last 5 recruiting cycles, yet as soon as we get a commit there we lose another one.

So I just told my 7 year old girl (who is really into Gator basketball) about the injury situation. She looked at me with an incredibly painful look and said "that's not good dad'.

These last 5 minutes of the SLU vs Dayton game have taken over 15 minutes and still not over.

One of the main reasons I hate all of the fouling at the end of a game.

Judging by the sight of Billy chewing his gum a minute ago....your daughter is not alone.
Kids should not have to witness this massacre.

Good luck guys cheering you on. Teams and coaches love it when they are the underdogs. I expect a big effort.
