Has anyone watched SC this year? They lost some key guys last year, and their coach. 3rd/2nd//Catcher were both fairly decent last year, and they all returned. I would think their pitching would be a little weak.

OK, we won a game yesterday. If we win today, it's called "two in a row". And if we win again tomorrow, it's called a "winning streak"... It has happened before!

Another solid club for the Cocks. If we throw strikes , pitch to contact , make the routine plays we will be ok. I like the way we were running the bases vs FSU. We ran smart and aggressive, Put the pressure on the defense. Just hope the Carolina crowd does not outdraw ours. I wish Carmichael was healthy. Prefer Mags out of the pen late rather than start although Ryan Harris ,in my opinion is the pitcher with the best stuff. This guy will go very high next year.

Carmichael would help, and I too liked the baserunning on Tuesday. Richie brings some much needed spark to the team.

I actually hate it when ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, ESPNU or one of the other ESPN megalopolies broadcasts a Gator baseball game. I'm down in Mexico City, and when the Gators are playing at home with the broadcast on the Gator Network, I can watch it via the streaming feed on GatorVision. Same with softball. But when ESPN broadcasts a game, we don't get the streaming feeds down here. We only get ESPN Deportes and some damn soccer game. Some local cable providers will stream ESPN2, 3, or U, but not for me since I have the DISH. So, when a game is on one of the ESPNs, I get the audio feed from GatorVision, and, if it is available, I load up CBS Gametracker on my tv connected to my laptop.

If anyone knows a reliable site where I can watch streaming feeds of Gator and other NCAA baseball and softball games, I would appreciate the information.

And don't get me wrong, I'm not bitching about the radio feed; I'm grateful for it. It's actually kind of fun listening to a game on the radio now and then. It takes me back to the days when I listened to Gator football games with my Dad in his den and to the days of that old Gator alum, Red Barber, "sitting in the catbird seat".

So, tonight, I'll listen to the Gator game on the radio and, as I did when I was a boy, return "to those thrilling days of yesteryear" when "from out of the past come the thundering hoof-beats of the great horse Silver. The Lone Ranger rides again!.......No, WAIT! That's a horse of another color. Pardon me. I come from a day when an "intellectual" was defined as someone who could listen to the "William Tell Overture" and not think of the Lone Ranger. And don't get me started on "The Shadow", "Gangbusters", "Boston Blackie", "The Chameleon", "Mr. Keene, Tracer of Missing Persons", "Gunsmoke", or "The Lux Radio Theater" and on and on and on. Sigh.......

Maybe I'll fix some popcorn, get out a legal pad, and keep score..........
