That's a relief. Good win, Gators.

Gator pitching allows 12 hits. Not so good. Gator batters 18 hits. Outstanding!

However, and this is a big "however". Too many baserunning errors.......again. Awful!

    When the weather is < 70° F: 10 games, 5.06 ERA, 1.65 WHIP, 2-4

More importantly, he got the win tonight!

I'm thinking we need to get to 18-12 to have a good chance to host. Kentucky was left out last year, but our RPI would be better than theirs was, and I haven't checked, but I would imagine they were the first SEC team to not host with an 18-12 SEC record since the field expanded.

Jeff Cardozo announced on the radio that the time for tomorrow's game has been changed to 5:00 PM because of the Tigers Spring football game. I guess that the fact that the football game was scheduled came as a big surprise to the baseball game schedulers.

Ha ha, Jeff and Steve sound like FLORIDA boys that have experienced Spring already and are not ready to go back to colder weather.

Kentucky went the opposite direction. Hot start, slow finish. Not saying we will finish 18-12, but with a current rpi of 10, and who we have played, we should host with an rpi that would hover in the low teens with that record. That is why the midweek games are a must, as well.
