That wild pitch made it worse

Considering our 3-4-5 hitters were like 0-12, not a bad lost. Most of the team seemed very intimidated

Didn't love the pitch sequence to Ross in the 8th. Mags had him 0-2 and they kept pumping him fastballs up and away giving his bat a chance to catch up to it.

That's just one sequence in a 9 inning game though. Both teams had their chances in this one.

Tough loss, but we battled hard. We need to get one this weekend, I hope this wasn't our best chance.

Tough one...UF played hard but needed one or two more clutch hits. The problem tonight was Dent was up late with two outs and a runner at third, and he was completely over matched. Then, an inning later, Powers, who outside his 9 RBI game the first weekend has only 13 more since, couldn't get it done either.

Really needed to get the win tonight as UF was throwing their ace and LSU was going with their number three. But, hopefully, we can bounce back and steal a win tomorrow or Saturday.

UF really just needs one this weekend. Think thirty wins is our lucky number to get in so a win at LSU and we could go 4-4 the rest of the way finishing 30-25 and we are most likely a third seed in some regional.

Great fight gators, couldn't get the timely hit late in the game. Showed some moxie, and I don't think they were intimidated at all. Go Gators, and Go Poyner tonight.

We played a very good team tough in their house. No head-hanging here. I just want us to get at least one game out there. Two and I'd be ecstatic.
