Martin at SS and anyone in the outfield. Have to score with runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out
Need his D to protect the lead for an inning. I'm fine with that.
Men on 2B & 3B / 2 outs
Tobias in on a balk!
Martin strikes out on failed bunt attempt.
johnny mags on the mound to close for UF
hum 'wild thing' for good luck
I don't care how good his defense is he is killing us with his bat!
I assume the only reason Dent is still playing is that Martin still isn't ready physically to play short.
If that is the case, you have to let Dent hit in that situation so you have his defense in the bottom of the ninth.
How can he be killing us if we have the lead? What would you call it if we were actually losing the game?
I don't get having Roberson bunt but not Dent. I think Richie Martin's pretty good on defense if we wanted to pinch hit there.
He is a 4 year letter winner batting less than .170 as a senior, not good
When you are hitting that far below .200 you'd better be Ozzie Smith at short.
farmer slow w/ the hoe, goes down looking
can i help you?
no, just looking!
Bottom of the 9th. Mags in to close.
Farmer goes down looking
deloach's squibber is squashed by turgeon and thrown out, 2 away
No one on / 1 out
Walsh grounds out to 2B
I'm not saying he has a good batting average or even that he is productive at the plate. I'm just saying that you can't say that he's "killing us" in this game when we have the lead. That just seems a bit dramatic.
I was referring to more than just this game!
shot to short and goes off cody's glove
No one on / 2 outs
DeLoach reaches on a hit to short.
