Yeah, tough one tonight. This team continues to struggle to score runs and some guys in the middle of the order just don't drive in runs. The best example of that is Shafer and Ramjit who in a combined over 400 ABs in the middle of the Gator order, have a total of 46 RBI's between them. Throw in Powers, who except for one big game early against Duke, has really struggled producing with RISP also.

Again, there just aren't many options. No Dent tonight, but he is replaced by FR Dicks who is 6-36 on the season. It's been said all year but this is the thinnest roster UF has had, in terms of every day position players, in a long time.

It can be debated whether UF even deserves a regional bid but to remain in contention, tomorrow's finale is really a must win.

Stick a fork in us. Time to look forward to next season. Too bipolar. To be expected though.

Maybe this will give them time to watch the ladies dominate. Maybe learn some stuff too.

So, if they are so thin this year, what chance do they have of suddenly being deep or decent next year?

Well, injured guys come back, young guys get experienced, and new talent is recruited. That's generally how it happens.
Just having Whitson, Kish, and Ratliff would have radically altered this season. Stump would have helped too.
Look how many freshman arms have thrown this weekend.
