Can't see the game, but it looks like in the last 5 minutes of game UF has gone 1-4 on FTs and fouled Bama 5 times…

Versus better teams, that spells LOSER...

Looks like we just racked up another single-digit win for the season.
That should look good by comparison....to last year.

We are leaving way too many points on the court with missed free throws. Albeit, I'll take the W. Go Gators

Without Releford, Bama loses by 30. I'll be glad when that pest is gone to the NBA.

True, but I think that game at Arkansas fits that description as well. How about next major test in the SEC? *shrug* First or next, I agree it will be a major test for the Gators and I hope they rise to the occasion :)

Probably one of our worst defensive efforts in over a month. But the refs were calling us for everything so we couldn't be as aggressive as usual.

Yup...free throws are this team's major weakness right now, and teams will exploit it in the tourney. Poor free throw shooting will cost us a game soon, mark my words.

We shot below our average at 62.5% (avg. 66%). But we only shot 16 FTs today, which is pretty low compared with our average of 25.

Patric Young just moved ahead of Al Horford into the #40 spot for total points scored by a Gator.
And....interesting coincidence with the 04's....he's now within 9 points of Joakim Noah at #39.
Young is also within 7 blocks of matching Eugene (the dunking machine) McDowell at #5.

Syracuse and Arizona both shoot under 70 percent at the FT line

Like I posted before, I just wished we could have gotten Chris in for more minutes. Once the game got close his time was going to be limited. And then the game came down to the end and no way he was going in unless one of our bigs fouled out. I thought we missed a great opportunity for getting him some teaching moments.

Beg to differ with you Bazza....Tennessee is the game we cannot lose IMO.
Not-to-mention the sad fact that they seem to own us on their home court.

Bama first half couldn't miss their 3s that's what kept them in game. Second half they drove the ball, perhaps we opened some lanes defending 3s. Great win none the less. I like that our team experiences tight games, prepares them for tourney time.

Our turnovers were perplexing at times; sure, some of it was their press and defense, but some turnovers were attributable to soft or errant passes that were lackadaisical, ill-advised, and telegraphed.

It seems like we fracture ourselves at times moreso than the other team does, and we make the game close, not them.

But seriously gotta like all the upside on all of the rest.
