Watching ole miss/ a&m,
Both teams have more offensive talent than us. How is that possible!!
Either their coaches are coaching them better, developing talent better or scouting talent better. Which is it that we are lacking?
Except for a few players I don't really see that much more talent, just better utilized in their systems.
All of the above
to see talent you need to showcase talent and teach them how to do their jobs. How can judge talent from a badly coached team?
They have recruited better on the offensive side of the ball. It is really that simple
There's more to it than that. Their offensive philosophies are clearly different ... and in a good way.
I guess the question is 'how is it possible that A&M and Ole Miss...especially Ole Miss....have recruited better than us? If we can't have more offensive talent than Ole Miss, we are really in trouble.
this thread is about talent not offensive philosophy and they have recruited better on the offensive side of the football
I find this hard to believe. Purely in recruiting rankings we have the number one QB, number one and two TEs, four top 10-15 rbs, quite a few highly rated WRs, a number one tackle coupled with a couple of transfers that every school in America would have taken.
Maybe they have recruited as well but I find it unbelievable that they have recruited better than that.
It'd be one thing if they were just better than us. But they are light years better than us. Both coaches in their second year.

Total: 30 players.
There are some curious things there. TAMU"s 2011 class was pretty bad on the stars but Manziel was only a 3 star. The also only signed one WR that year, a 2 star.
We haven't signed a single player that rivals classified as an athlete. We've signed more wide receivers than either of those and they haven't panned. Bama obviously cheats as they sign way more players than anyone else.
Still, our star numbers are pretty similar. So either we're really unlucky and pick a lot of busts or we're bad at developing talent. Either way, both are on the coaches.
Edit: and we're signing as many O-lineman as well. So we're there on the numbers and the stars.
Well you just named 3 players that are injured. But just off the top of my head Ole Miss has a Jr wr that was rated higher than any of are veteran WR's. Ole Miss freshmen WR was rated higher than any of our WR's period.
For Texas A &M they have a tackle that is a 1st round pick and is a veteran. Mike Evans was not highly rated because he played Bball but we all see how good he is. Trey Williams was the number 1 APB in the country.
They have more offensive talent than we do right now. I love how people bring up DJ he is 280 LB takckle in the SEC. Moore is an SEC guard playing tackle. That tells you how our depth is.
That definitely explains those false starts and that play where he forgot to block anyone.
Your post appears to support my argument more than your own.
They have done better
Texas A&M has a far better OL protection while I don't know much of Ole Miss' OL but let's look at Bama and few others which do have better OL that gave them plenty of opportunities. We do not have them, that's it.
Boom needs to realize this time that our offense side esp OL and few certain O coaches ought to be overhauled. We have had this stagnant offense since 2010... 4th season straight (minus the 2010 by Meyer and Addaizo). Will is well-known as a great defense coach yet no experience in offense so some including I do suspect that Boom relied on defense too much thinking that it could make it up with the offense. We need to score... defenses even the great ones do rarely score. Like somebody posted it yesterday 'drill, drill, drill' offense into Boom's mind... true that! It's the third season on Will by the way.
Fla has .1 or 2 players that might start on a&m--obviously none on the oline
The team with the most Florida guys will usually win has always been my motto.
We have talent, we just aren't giving them a chance to make plays. I saw guys open downfield, but we never tried to stretch the D and played to keep it close, not to win.
Talent is here and we were one of the few teams with three receivers ranked for yardage. We forgot about them Saturday.
In a perfect world, we would have Spurrier as our Head Coach and Muschamp as our defensive coordinator.
We also wouldn't have to pay any taxes or bills in that parallel universe.
