    UF is not FAU...

The scUM cronies will be out in full force next week...not packed to the rafters mind you...but it will still be loud...each BIG game like this is will be their Bowl game (pending NCAA verdict). The whole team will be up...

I just hope we dont look like we did in the Sugar Bowl...

That is why, i was hoping for a bit more robust passing game against Toledo...

Can you, in your infinite wisdom, tell us why on earth Champ would want to run a high-risk downfield passing gameplan against one of the most explosive teams in the nation (with a senior QB and a 1,000 yard RB)?

Do you think making sure to maximize the amount to time Toledo had the ball was the path to success?

Do you think leaving the defense on the field on a brutally hot day against a tempo offense would enhance their effectiveness?

I really don't think Champ wants a conservative offense. You don't go out and hire Charlie Weis and get into a bidding war for Pease if you want a conservative offense. You just promote Brian White if you want that.

I think as Driskel advances, so will our passing game. Rewatching the game, we definitely had some routes open deeper, but Driskel decided to check down. That's fine. We can still be successful while doing that, and I think as Driskel advances, we'll make more and more vertical plays. I think if Bridgewater was our QB, our offense would all of a sudden look more explosive.

    this is what Soc said

He wants a Bama style offense without all the flashiness, think LSU under Les Miles prior to this season and you have Boom's dream team.

    which is wrong

hopefully they were holding back a bunch of stuff---getting only 24 points against lowly toledo isn't what I expected.

And give this man a cigar.

Also, passing increases your chances of a turnover nearly three-fold, giving that explosive opposing offense more possible opportunities to score. Ball control run-offense took a lot of possession time out of Toledo's hands too.
