Any new info on how the search going, who's the front runner, or surprise candidate?

What kind of pedigree does Anderson and his OL coach have btw? I'd like to see what kind of experience and accomplishments Anderson and his OL coach have.

This possible hire leaves me once again questioning Muschamp's decision-making process like when he promoted DJ Durkin to DC.It was a bad call imo.

I'm not saying it's a bad one mind you, just that I have personal qualms about ACC coordinators and coaches because overall, it's been such a suck conference for years.

Anderson, if he's the choice, could very well end up impressing me. I just don't know what kind of leeway and autonomy Muschamp will give him as our OC. All this excitement over a new OC and OL coach could just very well be empty expectations because with Muschamp as HBC, the odds are the Gator offense is going to end up the same methodical, plodding disaster it's been the last three years.

It's floating around in a couple threads, Gray. Here's a summary (compiled originally by kennystyle):

Agreed. Who is 'Brad Grant', by the way? He seems to ask more questions of the reporters than give out information though...

Notice the production by a *freshman* receiver, RB and TE. OL seemed to perform very well, too. And word is his OL coach will come with him. This would be a great hire (or two), in my opinion.

"Carolina had what many outside observers called the best offensive line in the country in 2012.

All three of Carolina’s senior offensive linemen were selected in the 2013 NFL Draft, led by No. 7 overall pick Jonathan Cooper, who became the highest guard taken in the draft since 1985. Tackle Brennan Williams was a third-round pick and guard Travis Bond was taken in the seventh round. Bernard was picked in the second round by Cincinnati."

    OL Coach Chris Kapilovic

Seems like a solid hire.... my only qualm would be was the offense at USM and UNC Anderson's, or Fedora's?

It's hard to tell who is really responsible for the success in cases like this.

Have there been any updates to rumors? No? Let's start another thread!

    This rumor is intriguing.

Just googled a Tarheel forum and found - "Why would Anderson make a lateral move to UF?" ...LOL
One of the posts thinks he is in our top 3 with Norvell and the Nebraska 'guy' (who would be Tim Beck presumably).

I think this one is well beyond rumor as it relates to Anderson being in the top tier of candidates. The part that would still be rumor at this point is whether or not Anderson is our guy (with his OL coach coming along, too.).

The question, as always, then becomes: who was running the offense at NC this year? Anderson or Fedora? Who called plays?

Who is Brad Grant? The tweet came from him to Zach. Zach responded to another question on twitter today saying that his guess is Clay Helton.

I would much rather have Anderson over Helton, from what I've seen of them both, but who is Brad Grant?

Why would we wait till Jan to announce if it is Anderson?
