I think this thread belongs in Too Hot because it turns political as soon as the name Obama is written.
Then it becomes a president bashing so at least it's in the right forum.

Mods, I've saved you an extra step. :)

    1. The president has no faith in Virginia.

    2. His Final Four decisions have gotten increasingly bold during his presidency.

    3. Louisville is the president’s favorite team.

    4. Obama is not good with the winner.

He’s only picked the NCAA tournament champion correctly once. That was North Carolina in 2009. So good luck, Michigan State!

    Here's Obama's picks...

Michigan State is the sexy pick for everyone. Bad news for them, that usually never works out.

Another reason not to like him but now a valid reason. Apparently He is not so smart if he didn't pick Florida.

I'm actually glad to see him do this. He is a basketball fan after all, so why not.

My focus is on the South Region for obvious reasons and to me its crazy that he's got Ohio State beating Syracuse and then Kansas. With picks like those you have to wonder if this Affordable Care Act might not be a good idea and maybe we are going about things the wrong way wrt Russia? lol j/k

All jokes aside, Syracuse is a team that concerns me in terms of the personnel matchup with UF. Their late-season slide might be as misleading as ours in 2007. I expect them to return to their earlier 25-0 form in the tourney. I see us facing the Orangemen in the Elite Eight and am sorry to say it but would not be totally shocked if we made our fourth consecutive exit at that round.

But with that said if we get that Elite Eight monkey off our back this year then I really like our chances to win it all.

because those 10 minutes could solve Ukraine? it's really a pretty silly rightwing talking point:

Fox Declares: "Obama Picks NCAA Bracket While Putin Declares Crimea As Part Of Russia."
Rush Limbaugh: Obama Is Filling Out His March Madness Picks While Putin "Is Reassembling The Soviet Union."
Sean Hannity: "The President Busy Today, He's Doing His Brackets For The NCAA Tournament. That's Really Important."
Fox's Steve Hayes: President Obama's Bracket "Is Not A Serious Response" To Crisis In Ukraine.

Fox's Charles Krauthammer: Obama Is "Completely Unserious ... While He's Working On The Brackets For The NCAA, Things Are Not Stable" In Ukraine

The Weekly Standard: "Vladimir Putin Has Claimed Crimea ... And Barack Obama Is Filling Out His NCAA 'March Madness' Basketball Bracket."

National Review Online: "Putin Redraws Russian Borders; Obama Unveils Bracket Picks."

Breitbart: "Pieces Of Ukraine Are Falling Apart And The Health Care Plan's A Mess. But We Finally Have A President Who Really Knows Basketball."

In listening to Obama raddle of names, strengths and weaknesses of teams he certainly spends a great deal of time watching and reading the sport. Perhaps he has his own NCAA Basketball briefing person. :D

I tend to agree with you. In fact, I'll take it one step further. I think he needs to fill out another a couple million brackets because we're much better off with him filling out NCAA brackets than we are with him attempting to fix things.

After that he should hit the golf course and, then, maybe take a family vacation. We're better off with an empty office in the White House than we are with him in there.

Took him more than 10 minutes, but let's not let the facts interfere here...

It's bad form, plain and simple. With our military men and women dying overseas, Bush gave up golf. Certainly, it did nothing to secure any more or less security for our troops, but at the very least, Bush understood how inappropriate it was to be shown enjoying himself while our men and women fought for our security.

Obama doesn't care. Of course, Obama's prior actions have proven that he could really care less about America and Americans.

There are a lot of things that this President does that I am not fond of, but this isn't one of them. Everyone in the country that pays any attention at all to college basketball (doesn't his brother-in-law still coach a D 1 school?) has a bracket filled out.
