Well good God man, with the standards being lowered so much by the Great Jackass in office, of course the approval numbers look good to a lib. It is all relative---mainly because our country has a "new standard" with which to rate leadership. The country as a whole---has grown so much more dependent on govt to take care of them instead of doing it for themselves, they have set their goals so pathetically low that just keep things status quo is a win-win deal for the low life, uninformed 'takers' who support the Hussein administration. They keep their govt checks coming every month without doing a hint of work...hell yeah, they approve of that slime in office.

I realize that there are a lot of things that the president has no direct control over. But there is a process to getting things accomplished from the White House. "Campaigning", or giving a speech, is only the first step. From there, you have to work out the details of the idea, and convince Congressmen that it's worthy of their support. Finally, some degree of compromise is often needed to get enough votes for the idea to become legislation. Obama gives his speech, and then walks away. He expects Congress to take his idea forward without his help, and then he blames anyone and everyone when the legislation doesn't pass. It's very convenient for him to blame everyone else, but the truth is that he is not making an effort to do his job. He's lazy. Not surprising for someone who first started working as a community organizer.

You might be right, because if they were good at their jobs Obama would be answering questions about his spying on good American citizens.

But, the "worst" is a bit hyperbolic... don't you think?

Unless you are a DC insider, how much of that is speculation?

Obama himself admits that he is not fond of lobbying Congressmen to support his legislation. He would rather spend time with his family than with legislators to get things done (nice gesture for his family, not so nice for the country). Outgoing democrat Congressmen have criticized Obama or this also. Contrast to Reagan, who routinely ate dinner with opposition leader Tip O'Neill to resolve differences. Face it, Obama is lazy. He wanted to become president, then didn't want to do much that the job required.

On Obamacare, all the leadership for getting it nailed down and passed was provided by Pelosi (pass it to know what's in it) and Reid.

Have you been living in a cave the last few years?

Tampajack, you must be a partisan demo hack. Boehner worse than Nancy Pelosi. I'll bet you 2 facelifts he isn't in the same operating room.
