But... but... health care is a right!!.... Enjoy..

    http://washingtonexaminer.com/immigration-and-obamacares-employer-mandate/article/2531604

Under the existing Senate immigration bill, immigrants who have been in the United States illegally can obtain a provisional legal status after paying fines and meeting certain preconditions. But this population would have to wait at least 13 years to be able to obtain full citizenship, and it isn’t until then that they could qualify for government benefits such as Obamacare.

The problem arises when this rule interacts with another provision of Obamacare – the employer mandate. Starting in January, businesses with 50 or more employees who don’t offer workers health insurance that the federal government deems acceptable must pay a penalty if at least one of their workers obtains insurance on a new government-run exchange. The penalty is up to $3,000 per worker.

This means if the immigration bill becomes law, some employers could effectively face incentives of hundreds of thousands of dollars to hire newly legalized immigrants over American citizens, because the immigrant workers would not qualify for Obamacare benefits.

Well, there's a simple way to fix that problem. But dealing with the GOP on immigration meant making sure immigrants werent eligible for Obamacare as part of the law. This is a problem created by the GOP, not the healthcare law.

There really isn't that many companies that have more than 50 employees. Of the 27+ million employers, only about 500 thousand have over 20 to 100 employees. It thins out quick when you near 50.

There are 90 thousand employers with over a hundred employees. Which means this doesn't effect the vast majority of employers.

Of course it does effect those employers and employees that do have more than 50

hidden tax on job creation is going to be his new environmental position. it will cause the cost to produce something in this country to increase but he is too dense to grasp that concept or he just doesn't care if UE goes up and GDP goes down.

If you never figure in the cost of pollution in heath care and deaths, your numbers never tell the true story.

Did you add in the sales of scrubbers and workers who install them. Those jobs are as good as mining for coal aren't they.

And it is coal after all which is getting its ass kicked by NG.

Trying to sell the dirtiest source of energy when it is cheaper to use NG, while adding some cost to coal, will just move us further away from Tiny Tim and his choice of energy with tech from a new era.

Because the American taxpayers will have to heavily subsidize their almost free health-care/tax just like they'll have to do for all the lazy freeloader Americans already here.

These illegals are way more of a burden to the system than they could possible be worth picking fruit... as American freeloaders in waiting.

We cannot afford our own freeloaders, yet the Dems want to add millions more that already broken system? "Give me a break!"
