You can't make this up. Right out of the marxist junt playbook.

Blocking access to trails and programs at South Dakota’s most popular attraction was one thing, but state officials didn’t expect Congress’ budget stalemate to shut down a view of Mount Rushmore.

The National Park Service placed cones along highway viewing areas outside Mount Rushmore this week, barring visitors from pulling over and taking pictures of the famed monument.

At least cones are easy to run over. Seriously, how many man hours did it take to put up all those cones? That seems like a lot of work for a shutdown.

They should have a pro-immigration rally at the viewing area. That'll get it open.

This is where Barry is hiding all of his illegals .... the closed national parks ..... until he has blanket amnesty forced through congress.

Isn't he trying to close the oceans too? All of this for 17% of the government being shut down. WHAT A TOOL.

Takes more effort to close stuff like that and secure it than it does not to. It is like they can't stop wasting even for the goal of being frugal.

They need more cones. Motorcycles can still slip through.

Don't you know? They always pay people to set up miles worth of cones during shutdowns to save money.

Do those cones actually count as legal barricades in South Dakota? I don't think that would be sufficient in FLORIDA.

    Go GATORS!

Isn't it amazing how 8-10 hours after the shutdown thousands of signs were put up at parks extending all the way to France.

Government doesn't work that fast. This has been in the playbook for quite a while.

The White House is closed (it's been void of true-blue Americans for the last 4+ years) so all therein should be asked to leave.

Apparently some guy showed up at the Lincoln Memorial with a push mower and mowed the lawn, earlier today.

Has to be photoshopped. But just too funny.

Best way to fight absurdity is with absurdity. That truly would be a classic.
