I added "awesome" but reading that piece of poop said everything but awesome.

    http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.co...bama-set-to-herald-economic-record/?hpt=hp_t2

Our POTUS will take credit for anything that makes him look great and blame someone else for everything bad that happens. What will he do when the economy tanks in 2014-2015? You know we are already $500 Billion in debt over the debt ceiling? So once they raise the ceiling, it will peg it by winter. They're playing with numbers to keep the government from shutting down now but once the ceiling is raised, they will use that new ceiling to pay off the debt on debt. Obama has a problem - he can't ask for the normal $1 Trillion raise. He has to ask Congress to raise it by $3 to $5 Trillion so he doesn't have to ask for it again under his reign. Premature if you ask me...sort of like Texas A&M saying they won the game up 14-0.

I'm sure any President would do the exact same thing. I see no problem with this.

So will he take credit for it when it crashes or will he blame Bush/Congress/ATM's/Kiosks/shovel ready jobs.

I don't recall Bush taking credit when he was in office when the dotcom bust hit and recovered and then after 9/11. I don't ever remember him going on a tour pumping up his resume.

The economy has gotten better than it was when Obama took office. And taking credit is what presidents do. See every State of the Union address.

But it clearly has not gotten as much better as we'd all like.

On Friday, the president will take his message to the road, traveling to a Ford production plant in Kansas City, Missouri, where he is expected to tout the 2009 auto bailout and his next economic steps.

Funny thing, Ford was the only car manufacturer that said Thanks, but no Thanks to the auto bailout. Not only that, but Bush has to reluctantly take credit for actually starting the auto bailout ball rolling.

So in other words you have no problem with lying.

No matter how you answer this question I have no idea if you being truthful or not.

Honest question, how many times have you predicted economic collapse in the past few years? How many different years were the year that it would happen?

No,that's not what I said. I don't care who the president is if something good happens under their watch then I have no problem with them taking credit.

So if you don't remember, it didn't happen? Is this a variant of the "if a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it thing?

Laziness is no excuse for not knowing the facts. So let me help you with that.

Just out of curiosity, since I can tell you have a great deal of respect for those that serve(d) in the military, am I safe to assume you voted for Al Gore and John Kerry?

I said by 2015 most likely, but if I got the exact year right, I'd be a billionaire. I still think it will happen, there's no way around it. By the time Obama leaves office, the national debt will top $20 Trillion. That's roughly $500 Billion in interest payments and no one can skirt that payment, not even the IRS or NSA. It's gone even before Congress can taste it. So if we somehow cut deficits to zero from the trillion it's at now, we still pay $500 Billion each and every year until man dies out. The only way we pay down debt is to have a surplus. Even at a $1 Trillion surplus, it'd take 20 years to pay it off. Want to wager our government will be dedicated enough to pay it off?

And if interest rates climb? That $500 Billion interest tab increases. The thing is the US owes more than every other country on the planet combined. No civilization has ever succeeded with that kind of debt. Go ahead, look it up.

Time will tell really. When the recession hit in 2008, I thought it would seal our fate by now but I didn't expect the EU to fare worse. We are the better option right now:) Ironic isn't it. We created the derivatives market, sell the EU on it, and they fall harder than we do because we are the world's reserve currency. Once the EU gets their act together, then all eyes are back on us and we better have our act together or it's the final curtain.
