Going issue by issue, accusing conservatives of being terrorists on every issue, basically. It is like one of those insipid know-nothing choads that haunt Turlington Plaza for four years woke up thirty years older and became President, honestly. I really have decided, if it is okay to call conservative fiscal terrorists and suicide bombers, isn't okay to call liberals fiscal pedobears? Can we have specials, like "To Catch a Keynesian"?

He did nothing but. His arrogance is so total that he sincerely believes that political acts in opposition to his agenda are, in and of themselves, a national crisis.

And a lot of people on the left want to accuse Conservatives of playing the victim-card. This guy has won two elections outright and still somehow tries to play a victim.

It has been his entire career, people retreat to what they know. What he knows is demanding recompense for victim status.

Somehow he said Washington needs to change but doesn't see himself as being part of the problem.

See above. He may have felt he was "ready to rule", but his method is to spend most of his time outside Washington, complaining about Washington. Limbaugh Theorem is as solid as Newton's Laws of Motion.

Didn't listen to the speech; but, perhaps I can paraphrase:

"Never in the history of the USA...blah, blah, Repulicans....blah, blah hostage. I've worked hard to blah, blah...worst economic crisis since Moses was a child blah, blah...and I'm still willing to listen to blah, blah...fair minded people all agree....blah, blah, blah. Let me be clear ...I will now (... say nothing of substance) and will continue (to commit to and say nothing of substance) and will fight against ...blah, blah political terrorism by people on all sides of the aisle. (LOL) blah, blah....cooler heads prevail, blah, blah bipartisanship....blah, blah new initiative to help the....____________ (fill in blank of new potential voting block) and refuse to back down from folks who will not listen to reason."

    CHEERS & APPLAUSE.

    How did I do?

“opposing everything that’s happening, even the things he is causing to happen. He is on a perpetual campaign.”

    I agree

This is thread for people who miss having adults in the White House. Bragging and cheering for his prissy lectures is like being the kid whose sole job in middle school was to laugh at every fart joke. Obama Democrats have become the Nelson of American politics.

It scary that the Pubs lost votes to the Libertarian Party voters and we had a complete repeat of the Bush 41 slick Willy debacle.

If you want another communist in the White House just watch our imbecilic public vote third party again and we'll get the next Obama communist.

I told the Libertarians so... That if they vote for Johnson, or some other third party joke, they will be throwing their vote away.

The GOP probably lost 10:1 as many votes to disgust and apathy with Romney's flight to the center as they lost to Johnson. It isn't the Johnson voters fault. They deserve no applause and probably some withering stares, but they didn't do it after all.

The day it is the mushy centrist Republicans that hold THEIR nose and vote for a base-rousing candidate, is the day the GOP wins another Presidential election.

Obama won every single state he carried with at least 50% of the vote. How did third party candidates cost Romney the election when, even if you added the votes of every single third-party candidate to Romney's, Obama would have still won every single state he carried?

Florida and Ohio were the Obama states where Obama had greater than 50% but less than 51% of the vote. Even if you gave both Florida and Ohio to Romney, Obama still would have won.

How is that a third party candidate's fault?

Your last sentence is the illogical and of the kind that continually traps conservatives. Kind of hard to win general elections appealing to only the most extreme elements of ones party, especially in the current era where demographic shifts writ large suggest a need to broaden appeal.

look no 3rd party cost anything- the pubs once again nominated a moderate who could not get the base out and a lot of conservatives stayed home-which in my opinion was pretty stooopid but it is what it is

obama and his well oiled machine were smart-they knew what counties they had to carry in each swing state and placed boots on the ground to get the libs in those counties out to vote and it worked well
