Someone should probably inform Obama (aka the constitutional expert) of this because that's NOT what he said WRT Iraq.

    Hypocrite.

Huh? Congress authorized the war in Iraq.

It's sort of a man-in-the-middle attack. The domain registrars house the DNS records for their sites. Few people worry about security at domain registrars, sadly enough, but if one is compromised you can basically "steal" a site.

That said, there are domain registrars out the wazzoo and the odds that one of the smaller ones has poor security are pretty high.

Eventually, yes, they did. I was referring to the rhetoric leading up to Congress' authorization.

I thought he was just against the war in general. I don't recall going to Iraq without a resolution even being on the table.

I'm admittedly seeking clarity here. I've said as much.

I think you're mixing some things up. Obama was a nobody in 2002 outside of Chicago. If he said anything about Iraq during the lead up to the vote in October, no one paid any more mind than they did to any other nobody state legislator.

However, Senator Obama as presidential candidate did say a number of things about Iran in 2007 and 2008. He insisted, along with Senator Biden, that President Bush seek Congressional approval prior to any attack on Iranian nuclear facilities. They both appeared to understand the law then, but that understanding was as fictitious as trumped-up accusations that Bush was going to attack Iran in the first place. At any rate, that particular campaign canard is outside the scope of this debate.

Obama is waiting for the UN inspectors to leave Syria before Tomahawking Damascus and/or military targets. The four destroyers in the eastern Mediterranean have a total of 360 Tomahawks on board and are staying outside the range of Syrian anti ship missiles and waiting for the word from the CIC. There are political calculations going on in the White House (as there always are with Obama) regarding the political fallout from attacking Syria compared with pushing the various Obama scandals out of the news cycle. Valery Jarrett will let Obama know when the political moment is right to give the go ahead for an attack.

We should only shoot tomahawks with a use by date of Sept 2013. Don't want to save those "skunky" cruise missiles.

i'm definately leaning toward having the UN airdrop ammo to both sides and let them shoot the hell out of each other. Do we really want either side to win?
