obama approval by real clear politics is sinking fast 43.9 approve 50.9 Disapprove but worse yet is his rating in the direction of the country where 64.1 percent feel he is taking us in the wrong direction while only 26.7 approve. This is getting to the point where he is dead in the water. His supporters are falling fast.

I never look at approval ratings for Congress as they are always 10%. Look at approval ratings for your congressman. Funny how we think our congressman is pretty good but Congress overall is horrible.

Most are bums. There are a few good ones who serve a few years, do their community service and go back to the private sector. The lifers are mostly bums. Best job they will ever have.

The approval ratings of Congress have never been very high, but they recently hit an all time low. From Gallup (and this is prior to the shut down).

Large amounts of disgust around the country for everybody in Washington. But Obama comes out a lot better than Congress.

So Obama is like a great coach with crappy staff and players. Poor guy. Definately an unenviable position.

Same here, but I have no sympathy for anyone who voted for him the first time--absolute no respect or sympathy for those who voted for him the second time.

They had a track record the second time around by which to judge, and yet STILL were stupid enough to vote for him again.

Government's failing mightily across party lines.

Debt and Obamacare will be this President's legacy.

I know Berlin wasn't too excited last time he was there. The bizarre speech they heard before he was our President doesn't resonate these days... what was he talking about back then, that it's time for the walls of nations to disappear?
