I believe there used to be a fornigator (small g, not sure on the F) in the past. Don't recall any leanings.

What makes you all so sure I am not a new poster?

Is being incredibly bright, well spoken and witty so rare?

I don't pay much attention to the #s but I do think we are seeing a bit of a trend.

That said we know that some will never give him an unfavorable rating because either they are black or he is black and white guilt will not allow it. I would bet that blacks give him a huge favorable even though he has done little to help their plight as far as jobs etc. Doesn't matter to them.

Then factor in the ignorant masses who don't have a clue on anything besides music, sports or American Idol and who only do what CNN , NBC blips tell them and his rating is only going to go so low.

It makes no difference! None.

The Dems will win the house in 2014, hold the senate and potus will do as he wishes.

The GOP is falling a lot faster and a lot steeper with its base.

If that does happen expect the national debt to hit overdrive.

Overexposure. People are tired of him in their home everyday, via tv.
He has said nothing different in 5 years. It is getting tiresome, hearing the same old song and dance constantly. The republicans may not be worth a damn at present, but they are still better dummies, than the dems that are in congress. The republicans will control both the house and the senate after next election.

The American people likely confuse personal likeability with good leadership. It is rare when one has both. Reagan was an example who did. Unfortunately Obama is a poor leader who is screwed up philosophically. It is kind of like little kids who like a teacher because she/he doesn't challenge or push them...gives them lots of recess breaks, extra time for lunch. Later they learn she/he didn't do them any favors.

    I rest my case.

There's nothing wrong with Obama's approval ratings that a Republican-led government shutdown won't cure.

You really showed your hand on that is post. You are now toying with us. A new poster would not be doing that. It takes familiarity to toy.

Actually I think Obama and the Dems are overplaying there hand. The recent under employment data, the excluding of Congress and their staff from the ACA, and the push back by unions on the ACA plays to the favor of the Repubs. The Repubs are very smart in appearing to be reluctant in going for a gov't shutdown. As October approaches a combination of unions, management, Tea Party, and moderate Dems/Repubs will make give the Repubs the green light for a gov't shutdown.
