obama care is the real deal so obama says. The bad thing is he has a net loss ofr 3 million people who had ins and liked it but now have no ins.

When the Obama Administration has bad news to tell the American people, they often wait until Friday afternoon to reveal information that is likely to foster criticism. After months of pushing Obamacare and encouraging signups, the Obama Administration quietly revealed on Sunday morning the abysmal year-end enrollment rates.
Whereas once this administration hailed Obamacare as a significant achievement, they are now quietly revealing its failures on a Sunday when they hope nobody will notice.

In the early hours of Sunday morning, Marilyn Tavenner, the administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, released a brief statement saying,

“More than 1.1 million people enrolled in a qualified health plan via the Federally-facilitated Marketplace from October 1 to December 24, with more than 975,000 of those enrolling this month alone.”

Wait until the employer mandate kicks in next year.

And no one has been able to use the insurance they signed up for, so it is way too soon to say they are happy with their plans. It is far more likely many of the recipients will get a rude introduction to the concept of the word "deductible". I think it is safe to say that the millions who lost their insurance were happy with their plans.

People were warned....over and over. Yet the fools bought into Hussein lies. Many not only believed him, but voted for him twice. Those were the biggest fools of all, to actually be naïve enough....or stupid enough....to honestly believe Hussein and his healthcare promises. And even now--some are STILL defending Obamascam with all the obvious flaws so far. When the bulk of the problems ratchet up a few notches in the coming months---God help us all.

True. But, there are at least 3+ millions people out there that went from being insured to being uninsured. They're certainly going to be telling everyone they know how the ACA affected them.

And, when the employee mandate clicks in, there will be tens of millions more that went from being insured to uninsured. Millions more will go from full-time employement to less than 30 hours. All of them will be telling everyone they know.

To top it off, virtually everyone will be paying higher premiums for policies with higher deductibles and copays.

No matter how much the MSM under reports the issue, most people will actually experience the effects of the ACA.

    Pure nonsense.

Almost 6 million Americans have become insured under ACA. Those with previously non-compliant plans now have a chance to get better coverage.

According to this piece, there is no official count of people who have lost their plans, and the OA believes that only 500k are still looking for replacement coverage.

personally, i have no remorse for those losing their plans to standards being raised, other then Obama lying about it.

Standards get raised all the time by the private insurers, and it was a matter of time before it got raised by legislation.

You are absolutely brain dead if you believe 6 M "new" Americans are insured under ACA. 5.5 M got canceled. Approximately 2 M have signed up on the fed and state exchanges. About 15% of the 2 M have actually paid their first months premium (which means the 2 M who signed up are actually not insured, only about 300-400 K are). So add up those #s and we are in a huge deficit.

Plus the fact that about 65-70% of those signing up are for fricking Medicaid. And half the others are to be subsidized by the rest of us. CLUSTER

Yeah. All these women over 40 need breast pumps, lactation counseling, maternity coverage, birth control which the rest of us get to pay for and of course all of us subjected to obamacare need mental health coverage to intervene against some bubba trying to assassinate all the democratic idiots who voted for it.
