A chance to get a bill of goods by that name, anyway. You're right, it's something conservatives don't like to see... just for far different and much more dignified reasons than you might think. A bunch of young healthy people lined up to buy coverage they really don't need, which has been marked up a huge amount because it only exists to siphon money from them to pay for other people, and maybe paying a lower point of sale price because *that* is being subsidized by people that actually make money. All of which for insurance that will need to be rationed to them jealously if and when they actually ever need it.

    ???

I don't want to see people forced to purchase a product. But if one wants to buy something...by all means!

Ok, so reverse the title. I guess libs want to see people in a physical line to purchase something that more than likely will NOT help them, will cost more than they think, will still cost them plenty when they go to use it, and that's IF they find a doctor who will accept said policy, and when they see how expensive it really is in the big picture, said line will then be seen in the ER, which was one of the things this whole thing was supposed to curtail.

    Woohoo, a physical line...for a program signup...IN 2014. Go team!

So... these people are desperate freeloaders?

    LOL! Too funny, jdr.

You know, sometimes it makes me wonder if you're paying attention to the ACA and it's utter failure. The only ones signing up for Obama-care are the freeloaders that can get something for nothing. Everyone else already figured this boondoggle out.

So paying $5,000+ or, what ever it is, as a deductible is giving them just false hope. Especially when the go to see a doctor for expensive treatment or procedures just find out that they owe all that deductible and then some after a visit.

It's not insurance when the deductible you 'will own' before/after treatments are that unreasonably high. It's called a scam, and in this case, it's a federal government tax scam.

oh rick. it's impossible (for the right) to totally disguise the 'glee' when there are issues with the ACA. heck, it's impossible for them to disguise the 'glee' when the slightest negativity affects this admin/this president/the democrat party
as for, 'religious freaks', maybe 'freaks' is right. but contrary to popular opinion, the right does not own the patents to god and jesus
as also with gun ownership, we don't feel the need to brag about this stuff.

Sure, because the only way to really be pleased with your range of options and how it will deliver is to be utterly, colossally ignorant of what had been available and at what price.

Plans that I could be quoted for $125 a month before this dumpster fire, closest counterpart to get quoted is sticker price, double that or more, about $250-275. And then subsidized by taking someone else's money and promising* the insurance company to make up the difference and ends up like $75.

There may be knuckleheads out there fool enough to be like "wow, that saves me 75%!" never realizing that the damn thing's retail value inflated to more than double just off all the idiotic mandates and overcoverage it requires.

*I say promise, since the federal government apparently has not created reconciliation tools for subsidy payments to be remitted to the insurers, they all have to bill manually by paper, however the customer is paying their part of the premium. That will undoubtedly yield slow and or non-payment by the government to the insurers and just exacerbate the pain for the insurance companies -- which is, of course, the point, to make private health insurance break bad.

I'm pro Constitution... And last I heard freedom of religion was Constitutional... even thought I do not subscribe to anyone's man made religions I do respect the right to do so.

As for the Dems and their communistic tendencies... the Dems in congress need no reason to be hated. They do don't matter like that to me at all.

this ain't communism. we don't want 'communism'.
for about the umpteenth billion time: we favor capitalism with a smidgen of social(ism) safety nets for the public.

like the swedes have. or germany. or britain, canada, the netherlands, denmark, norway....etc etc*

*also known as the civilized world.
