Anyone bother to look the the Buckeyes schedule? OSU doesn't play a single top 25 team in the preconference. Marquette was the only tough game and they are not having a good season.

And yet no one calls them out for it.

Louisville's schedule was pretty light as well.

The former coach at Arkansas during 10 games seasons, Frank Broyles, stated: "If you go 9-1, no one will remember the 9 teams you beat."

A lot of highly ranked teams play such schedules, and don't drop in the rankings until and unless they start playing some competition.

Unlike OSU, Louisville played both UNC and UK. Sure, they lost. But they played them.

I would love to see how many teams could lose at Wisconsin and at UCONN in close games and drop as far as we did. Seems like we get punished more for losing closely contested games against highly ranked teams than the supposed "Elite" schools do for losing to inferior teams.

Syracuse actually played a pretty decent schedule outside of the lack of road games.

They beat Minnesota, Cal, and Baylor on a neutral court. And has wins over Indiana and Villanova as well. Also can't forget they play in a pretty strong ACC.

I don't understand the lack of respect from the coaches poll, AP Poll I would expect. Even with our B2B titles, most of those writers still don't think we belong in the conversation due to our "lack of tradition."

Regardless, it has nothing to do with tourney seeding, so I spend little to no time wondering why they still disrespect us.

Their schedule will tighten up once conference play starts.

Yea, I agree with that. The tourney seems to reward us for playing a hard schedule more often than not. With that said, it is funny to listen to commentaters trying to explain why UF doesn't deserve the "high" seed it got at the start of the tourney (until we make the elite 8 of course and then they are fed a nice helping of crow). Well, if you didn't disrepect so much in the polls, then you wouldn't have this false sense that we were "given" such a high seed. Just my thoughts of frustation with the polls over the last few years.
