He should have done it. Nothing to lose at this point. He's only going to get so many opportunities of any kind. Either he's getting bad advice or he's being too stubborn for his own good.

    I'd go with too stubborn.
Never really understood his training regiment for a QB either.
I'd take those Rooskie millions and run like the freakin' wind.

Tebow cares much less about money than many. He did what he felt was right. Good for Tim.

This dazzling post was sent via my Samsung Galaxy Tablet using jet packs custom built for Gator Country.

Sounds like the owner is upset that Tebow said no.

“Unfortunately agents of Tim Tebow turn down our proposal,” Zaltsman said in e-mailed comments. “I hope that its Tebow’s agents’ fault that the contract wasn’t signed and Tim couldn’t do anything about it.

“If it was his decision – it’s very upsetting. And in this case we don’t want him in our team anyway.”

“We are looking for the people who pursue their dreams, not the ones who talk about it.”

Sour grapes, but I'm sure TT didn't want to be a sideshow. NY, was enough of one. I would have liked to see it, but he knows what's best for himself.

Lots of 0 and three teams out there.

Got to be some team that will wake up and say, at least with Tebow, I could have someone care enough to come to the games.

That is kind of harsh, but if any of you follow European soccer, it isn't unusual for manager/owner to speak out like that.

Definitely harsh, but also perhaps a bit inaccurate. Tebow said his dream is to be an NFL quarterback, and I think he showed by accepting an offer by the Jets that he is willing to do almost anything to do so. If any NFL came to him, I have little doubt that he would be more than appreciative.

I have to think he is getting some unsolicited advice from some family members. If I were his agent I would tell him that getting a call from an NFL team in the next month is pretty slim. Making money and spreading your message to Russian citizens isn't a bad idea.
