"The event page for the “Climate Change Day of Action Rally” disappeared after rainy weather appeared to drive away whatever people planned to attend. The embarrassing showing follows the news that only one volunteer stayed for an OFA Obamacare event in Centreville, Va., last week to work the phones."

Let's give Row a break. He can't be everywhere at once.

Did the attendees have to show a photo ID to get in? Might explain the low turnout . . . . apparently nobody on the left has one.

I've noticed that this has become a popular insult on the ol' Too Hot forums. "You (insert political partisan group that is different than yours) have to get back to watching (insert TV show that you believe belittles the partisan group that's different than yours)."

While I doubt the effectiveness of that tactic, I nonetheless get the concept. However, I think if you're going to employ it you should at least get the shows right.

American Idol is a rightie thang.

Then again that was back when ANYONE watched American Idol. More recently that changed to Swamp Loggers and The Bachelor.

And in a move I'd consider positive, most recently college football showed well with the right, to counteract the obsession with Dancing With The Stars, and American Idol disappeared from both sides.

In sum, as a card carrying member of the right, you can't shame the left with one of your own embarrassing qualities (and that would work in the other direction also, of course.) I'd suggest replacing "American Idol" with "Project Runway", as that one seems to me to be the first glaring shameful show on the lefties' list. Then just hope that the insultee doesn't take the time to see that "The Bachelor" is still running strong with the right, after all this time.

I know you'll find this super helpful. You're welcome, in advance.
