Would be nice to get another top RB.

@rivalsmike: Hearing that #Florida #FSU #Alabama and #OhioState are top four for nations No 1 RB Damien Harris right now from good source.

Hopefully Roper does his thing with the offense. That will help with a lot of recruits. I'm sure a lot of recruits are waiting to see that.

Wonder if that's in order or not. He would be buried on bama's depth chart with derrick Henry coming into his own and them getting bo Scarborough last year. FSU possibly but I think Ohio State is our biggest threat for harris. Is Carlos Hyde back for another year or was he a senior last year?

Is it true that Jacques Patrick is all FSU? I was hoping he was a gator. He's my top choice...big, fast back. Need to see film on Damien Harris...

Check out his highlights. He looks to be the total package for a RB. he is pretty big himself, more on the stocky side at 5'11 over 200 lbs already. Runs a 4.5 but he has a hell of a change of direction yet he runs straight through tacklers and then turns on the jets. Would be nice to land him.

Lmao. Good one. I saw some nimble moves on film, his foot movements seem natural, like a dancer. Lol

Too early to get excited about him. He's probably going to remain among the top three backs in the class, but no reason to believe we will remain in his top three. The Gators need to pound up front and Taylor and company need to pile up nearly two thousand yards on the ground before a kid like this stays with us until February. He needs to see his role on the offense, not have coaches tell him about it. (Mike Davis)

Didn't we lose Mike Davis, because we continued to recruit more RBs while he had the impression we were done after he and Jones? I can't remember the specific RB - Keith Marshall maybe? It was one of the five stars that Gerogia seems to always get.

Yes Brian. That is what happened with Davis. Brown is a SR and Jones could jump after this season and Taylor the year after, so adding RBs this year, to be ready for major carries is a must.

I agree. Who do you think are the likely candidates? I'd like to see us add an every down back, and a third down type playmaker. McCloud may fit the latter should he decide to be a Gator. I'd love to add one of Harris, Scarlett, Williams, or Patrick, but I'm not sure how likely any of them are considering that two are already committed elsewhere.

Patrick would be a solid replacement for Jones & Brown, but gut says noles win that one. I would like to see Harris or Scarlett as well. McCloud could be used in a more hybrid role, similar to what they have in store for Powell.

Well Scarlett is committed to FAU..... FA freaking U. He is one of the top RB in the country with offers from major schools I just don't see him staying with them. Not to mention he is quincy Wilson's teammate so we certainly have a chance with him.
