Dang, I never would have guessed that NewsMax readers likely supported the Tea Party!

Naw...it said "Independent. American." right at the top. Clearly, it is a survey you can rely on. :ninja:

Don't worry, I'm sure NewsMax's methodology was such that they used scientific principles to capture a scientific sample.

    description of Newsmax by Newsmax

looks like OP's poll results are simply more GOP math as propagated by Fox , et al the last several years.

OP's poll results have all the same sort of honesty as an ultralib website polling only ultralibs about a person or issue

when will op and others who try to pull this sort of crap realize that their con-artist BS won't fool people.

ps---OP---you are helping Dems more than you'll ever admit

ok, here's the poll that has gotten the republicans into negotiating mode. you don't have to like it, there's nothing i'm gonna discuss, lol, i'm just saying, around the capital, news today is that THIS poll (wall street journal) has woke up the republican party. so starting last night, still working, and planning on working the weekend, negotiations are ON. here is the poll

(keep an open mind, as this same poll a month ago had the republicans ahead. so don't go saying "oh no! biased source' etc.)

I have no doubt that the same majority who voted Obama into Presidency twice would now also blame the GOP for the shutdown.

    Really?

I responded to a poll linked through a Forbes article yesterday, and I had to go to my junk mail to confirm to get the results. Seemed almost obscure, to me.

....so now it's flowing all over the net?

    Sweet.

The righties in Congress have had notoriously bad polling results for awhile now, that's the only point. Hardly big news. I think that's part of the humor in the OP's post, it would be a surprise if they polled positively.

Well ... it's refreshing to see some folks are willing to govern based upon philosophical belief and what their constituents want ....... and not based upon "what the polls do".

    That is refreshing.

I can't wait until the Democrats shut down the government and hold the economy hostage in order to get universal background checks and magazine limits on guns. I'm sure you'll find that just as refreshing.

Well ... if your pal Chris Hayes and his followers don't change or repeal it ...... then the lefties will have every Constitutional right to do that. Frankly, even though I'm largely libertarian and desire a substantially smaller federal government, I could care less if they do that ...... as long as it applies to all lefties (no waivers by Obama).
