Hire a brand new offensive coordinator and hand over the rains, no questions asked. This is the only way WM is going to be successful. My opinion is hand the entire offense over to Kerwin Bell and let him run with it.

How about a new O line coach? Just a thought.

Agreed. The only thing WM needs to tell his offensive coordinator, go get me at least 25-30 points a game. I don't care how you do it, just do it, and I will handle the D.

Thanks. I'm sure you were the guy that turned around IBM, Ford, the 49'ers and Apollo 11.

Zook was fired after 33 games as HBC, and today was Muschamp's 33rd game. I'm not saying fire him, I'm just asking, what does Foley do now?

Hadn't Machen already been hired at that point? If he was, it made the firing of Zook a fait acompli. I don't think JF acted without that plan in mind and pretty much in place.

WM can't hire the kind of OC people seem to want, because the way he wants to play is the way they are playing. I'm sure he wishes they would play better, but the philosophy is what WM believes. Shorten the game, take few chances, win by not giving the other team a opportunities to score. Asking him to change that would mean changing what he believes football to be about, and I can't expect him to do that.

If you want the offense changed, you have to be willing to change the top.

Sounds like a great idea...after misfiring with the Weis and Pease hires, what better way to rectify things by hiring a guy who coaches at Jacksonville University. What could possibly go wrong?

Agreed. Zook was fired the day machen walked through the door. They were just waiting for the opportunity, and couldn't do it after the Robbery at Rocky Top, or the last minute win against the defending MNCs. Miss State was manna from heaven.

I'm on the fence on Pease. This offense has no identity and I'm not sure SOS could scheme behind this OLine.

WM is a control freak and more stubborn than my wife. No way he hands over control of half the team, even if he does hire a new OC. Which begs the question, what prominent OC would even be willing to work under Muschamp?

I wouldn't exactly call the pieces he has "NFL Ready". Despite the thoughts of some on here, no scheme would have been executed by our turnstile o-Line.

I do think he's canned this offseason.

I just don't know what to think about WM anymore! Like others have said he's to stubborn to change anything on offense. Anyone who thinks having a better o-line will fix everything is crazy. With the scheme we run good teams will be able to slow us down enough to keep the games close. Not wanting to go down field is hurting us and that won't change cause Muschamp don't want big plays cause it puts his precious defense back on the field to quickly. We will always run a ding and dunk offense with WM as our HC. The only way he will be successful is to tweak his offense to 2013 and not the 50's & 60's. And we all know that's not going to happen. He will be gone by this time next year in my opinion.
